    Hi community, thanks for your engagement and explaining here how grouping products and services would help make managing products and services in your business easier.

    We're currently working on product categories that'll let you create and assign categories to products or services individually or in bulk.

    You'll be able to show the category column and filter by categories from the products and services list page, include these in import and exports and ben able to group and filter by categories in some inventory reports. 🥳

    I'll round back to share when this feature starts rolling out!

    My workaround in the end was to start each Xero Item Code with a prefix for the product category. eg/ TEE_SHIRT_01 - where TEE is the category and the Item Code is SHIRT_01 .

    Inventory Grouping is a great idea! Similar concept to Grouping Contacts.
