Thanks for sharing this idea, Frances. We can see how helpful it would be for chatbot responses and help articles to provide direct links to the relevant pages. We’re opening this idea up for votes and comments so we can better understand how useful this would be for the wider Xero community. If you’ve experienced something similar, please vote for the idea and share examples of the links or journeys you’d like to see improved. Hi everyone, it makes a lot of sense to want a cleaner way to organise dashboard widgets. When related items like bank accounts or invoice summaries are grouped together, it’s easier to find what you need without much scrolling..
For now, you can use the Edit dashboard button at the bottom of the page to reorder widgets—move your most-used ones to the top and hide the rest.
This idea is now Gaining Support, so we can see how many others would like more control over dashboard layout. We’d love to hear how you’d group your widgets—keep the votes and comments coming!

This would be so great. I am having terrible trouble arranging my bank accounts the way I would - it seems like I put one where I want and then the one I wanted to put it next to has moved has moved to a completely different part of the screen - I would really like to be able to herd them all into one area - currently it is like herding cats!

Hi team, thanks for feeding back on my last update, it's good to hear how the contrasting has or hasn't helped solve needs for differing users.
We appreciate further context of your needs here and want you to know this is something our team have still been looking into.
We now have a piece of work underway that when released will show borders around widgets on the homepage 🙂 Though I can't give timeframes for this as yet, I'll keep you looped in on further updates for this here.

Hi team, we wanted to share an update as this will be possible within the new Xero Homepage!
You'll find with the new Chart of accounts watchlist widget you'll be able to reorder by any column in the watchlist 😊
You can currently try out the new Homepage in the demo company. I'll be back to confirm when this is live to all users. Thanks!

Same. I would love to order this by account type so I can see income and expense accounts grouped together

We have quite a few bank accounts and it currently quite difficult to see at a glance the total balance across all of them on my dashboard. Frustratingly the exact widget for this is available in the Mobile version but not in the web version. Can you please add it to the web version?
