Hi everyone, I appreciate feelings shared in not seeing traction as fast as you'd like to ideas you're interested across Xero Product Ideas.
Our community team are pure advocates for our customers ideas internally, making sure these are shared and highlighted to the teams and individuals that can make a difference, and doing our best to get ideas reviewed and into our teams planning wherever possible.
We receive ideas for incremental, and large changes to existing products, as well as for new features entirely. With so many customers the range of ideas coming from our users is large, and we cannot action all things at once.
We try to be transparent in our communication and updates to ideas across the site, even if this means there is no current development planned for a feature.
I can assure you the site here is a tool that all our product teams find…

An error occurred while saving the comment Cheryl Edgtton commentedWhat about when a married couple have a business and hire someone (casual hours - usually 4 hours per week) to do their accounts - their Xero bill automatically goes up $25 a month ($300 per year) because they are paying a third person.
RIDICULOUS and UNNECESSARY
I used to prefer Xero to MYOB, but I'm beginning to change my mind. -

Thanks for the feedback and great to hear the use you find in repeat templates in Xero.
While there's no way to bulk update templates atm, you may find updating your templates through export & import of invoices more helps quicken things up?
You could export invoices that have been generated from your template to CSV, update the amounts in the exported file, and then re-import.
This will create 'Draft' invoices in your Xero org from which you can create a Repeat template and then delete the draft. 🙂

John is correct too - allow prices to refresh to the latest price from the inventory. An error occurred while saving the comment Cheryl Edgtton commentedI have over 500 repeat invoices set up and they are all different using one or two different inventory items on each one depending on their level of membership and if they want electronic or paper subscription. Multiple options for each invoice.
When an inventory item price is updated, it should automatically update across all repeating invoices, having to go through and update > 500 invoices one by one is ridiculous.Cheryl Edgtton supported this idea ·
Obviously not true. Nothing changes except for things getting worse. Take a look at the comments on the idea: Contacts - Show information on one page.
Obviously didn't listen to the people that use the software, it is a nightmare to enter multiple contacts in one sitting and it is not simple to do it once in a while either.
You can't tab from one field to the other and then you have to click to a new page instead of how you used to be able to type and tab. Your hand it constantly changing from the keyboard to the mouse which is inefficient.
