Hi Paul-John, appreciate your feedback here. Our team are constantly reviewing new as well as sharing and rallying for many of the trending ideas across the site here.

Hopefully you feel more of the interaction overtime.

We take ideas seriously and this does mean sometime may need to be put into evaluating an idea internally before it's position is updated in the community here. There are many factors that weigh into the product decision and development process that extend beyond the site alone and some ideas require careful consideration from multiple areas and people throughout the business. Where possible we will do our best to openly set expectation and you can use the Status of an idea to better understand it's position.

Obviously not true. Nothing changes except for things getting worse. Take a look at the comments on the idea: Contacts - Show information on one page.
Obviously didn't listen to the people that use the software, it is a nightmare to enter multiple contacts in one sitting and it is not simple to do it once in a while either.
You can't tab from one field to the other and then you have to click to a new page instead of how you used to be able to type and tab. Your hand it constantly changing from the keyboard to the mouse which is inefficient.

What about when a married couple have a business and hire someone (casual hours - usually 4 hours per week) to do their accounts - their Xero bill automatically goes up $25 a month ($300 per year) because they are paying a third person.
    RIDICULOUS and UNNECESSARY
I used to prefer Xero to MYOB, but I'm beginning to change my mind.

Thanks for the feedback and great to hear the use you find in repeat templates in Xero.

While there's no way to bulk update templates atm, you may find updating your templates through export & import of invoices more helps quicken things up?

You could export invoices that have been generated from your template to CSV, update the amounts in the exported file, and then re-import

This will create 'Draft' invoices in your Xero org from which you can create a Repeat template and then delete the draft. 🙂

Cathy is correct - errors can happen easily when you have to manually update all invoices as well as the possibility of missing some invoices to update.
John is correct too - allow prices to refresh to the latest price from the inventory.

I have over 500 repeat invoices set up and they are all different using one or two different inventory items on each one depending on their level of membership and if they want electronic or paper subscription. Multiple options for each invoice.
When an inventory item price is updated, it should automatically update across all repeating invoices, having to go through and update > 500 invoices one by one is ridiculous.
