Hi everyone, we appreciate all the feedback and votes on this idea. We know using Microsoft Entra ID SSO is now common practice for some businesses and being able to access Xero via a native integration with Entra ID would streamline how your teams log in and get set up in Xero, as well as help in managing access for larger teams and keeping things secure.
Our product team have been working with a small limited group of Partners to develop SSO capabilities. Though we can't give any definite timelines yet, we’ll keep this thread updated with news. Thanks

No, we don't want Azure integration, we want generic SAML that works with any ID provider. But you've closed that idea, even though it is the solution to SSO.

There should be an additional user role for an employee who can create expenses of other employees, but not approve them. This is for the case where an administrator or PA can input expenses for another employee, which also ensures they're coded correctly. Currently you cannot create for other employees unless you can also approve expenses.

SSO is recognised as a critical aspect of modern business security.
Our business uses Jumpcloud as it's secure IdP provider. Xero should support Jumpcloud as the authentication provider for Xero user logins. Jumpcloud supports generic SAML connections and supports MFA using their dedicated mobile device push app, or also OTP if necessary. A dedicated Jumpcloud integration could perhaps enforce/require MFA if this is an issue for third party IdP providers.

Recall many only voting here because you previously closed the highly voted submission requesting generic third-party SSO years ago.
