Hi team, in the aim of transparency we have split this idea out from the original one here so we can get a better understanding of the interest for this change in each area of Xero.
Being quite different features within Xero it's not likely that a change in one would be reflected in the other area at the same time. We will continue to track interest in removing quotes from the all list here and share if there are any updates.

Hi community, thanks for continuing to highlight how important this is when working across multiple lines in an invoice or bill.
We’re working on an improvement to the Line Item Grid that'll make this workflow faster. You'll soon be able to drag contents of a field in a row up or down a column, and we're also designing an option for keyboard users.
Once available this'll make it much easier to repeat details like tracking, account codes or tax rates, in invoices, quotes, sales credit notes, purchase orders and when editing bills in quick view mode.
I'll be back to confirm once this functionality's released. 🙂

Richard White is correct. It’s a function we all used to use prior. Especially when invoices are imported from other software drag and drop needs to be active in ivoicing. Saves time. Please rerun it.

I was wondering why the drag and drop function has been stopped on editing invoices since the roll out of new invoices only. As we use an external app for our job management system and the invoices and customers get imported from that to xero, we have to spend time editing the invoices in Xero before they are sent out. We used to be able to drag and drop and now that function has been stopped. This needs to be reinstated.
Secondly, When will Xero be able to do do Bpay Batch Payments? This has been discussed for quite some time. Fees keep going up but developments are very slow. Fix the issues please.

Hi everyone, we understand the high importance of more flexibility in how you pay your supplier. As you may have read on our website online bill payments in AU is currently in beta, with plans to roll out to more organisations soon.
Once available to your organisation this agnostic solution, will give you multiple options of how your supplier receives funds, including BPAY as requested in this idea.
I'll come back and share once online bill payments become available to all Australian organisations. In the meantime you can find out more and sign up to the beta on our website. 🙂

Yes Xero when is this going to be available. Fees keep going up and no mention of this. What’s happening? When do users expect to see this?

Due to batch payments, i pay all my accounts at the middle of the month before they are due in one batch payment. This month I have 5 BPay payments that i have to do separately. This is time. I am time poor and Xero needs to get this sorted so Batch payments include Bpay payments as well. Saves a lot of time.

This Feature is extremely needed by many people. Xero you are charging the fees with many price rises but your noit listening to your end users.
Many company and biusines payments need to pay certain bills with Bpay.An error occurred while saving the comment

This day and age with Xero fees constantly rising. It should be an available function. BPay is a payment that we all have to make such as tax and asic costs. Zero team make it happen.

This is an absolute pain this pop up. We send the invoice and it marks as sent automatically. Why do we need it at all. Sometimes I think Xero does some stupid things on new updates. Make this stuff optional for end users. Have options as every ones needs are different. Make it optional before you release it. Just like print pdfs does not open anymore. Be smart and be user friendly. Make options.
100 % a great idea as when we’ll sell a machine and client wants an invoice. Then sale falls through. You void an invoice and then the invoice number is just lost. This certainly would be worth implementing.
