Thanks for sharing your feedback on having Xero calculate payroll based on days rather than hours.

We have waited too long for this feature. Lots of changes to layouts and other quirky tweaks that wont change the efficiency of a business. Just roll out the day rate feature.

Its time for Xero to listen to the market place, ask a few questions and implement changes that will work for small trades and all other businesses that charge and cost on day rates.
Its not rocket science and cant be that difficult in 2025 with all the tech and IT experience. it just needs adding the various elements within Xero.Russel Godden

This request for a day rate payroll capability has been requested since 2023. Whilst we can share it to other colleagues etc so they can support, how much longer are we going to have to wait?
I am sure if you were to send the question to all your accountant brand ambassadors, the feed back would have over have whelming support of this feature.
