Hi everyone, appreciate the continued interest and support this idea receives.
I know it's been sometime since our last update, and I understand frustration in recent comments wanting more news on where this is at.
I want to confirm our product teams still have good intentions to develop the ability to copy to a purchase order from within an invoice, however with the current option of being able to copy to from the invoice list and prioritisation of other pieces of work this isn't roadmapped just yet.
I totally get the needs here and hearing how you found this feature so useful. As soon as there's further news we'll make sure to share this with you all, here. Thanks

The 'Copy to Purchase Order' in the classic invoice set-up is imperative to how I use Xero, as it streamlines my ordering from client to supplier, ensuring no details are lost. I cannot switch to new invoicing until this has been implimented.

Copy from an Invoice or Quote to a Purchase Order is SO important for our business. I would be completely lost with out it as I would loose the clickable trail in the history of the invoice.

Hi Xero Team,
We’re counting down the days until the removal of this brilliant feature in the new invoicing system, and honestly, we’re hoping it somehow makes a return in the next week or two.
Our company relies heavily on the "Copy to Purchase Order" feature, using it multiple times on every single job we take in. Without it, I’m not sure how we can maintain the same level of efficiency, and this change may force us to reconsider our use of Xero.
@xero Is there any chance this feature will be reinstated, or is there an alternative workflow that could achieve the same outcome? Could you provide an update on whether this feature will be reinstated, and if so, when? Any guidance on possible workarounds would also be appreciated.
