    I was directed to this Feature Request by Xero support because importing custom field values currently doesn't work. Importing custom fields are only available for Clients and Contacts. Would be great if this was also possible for Jobs.

    Hey team, thanks for sharing your needs in preparing workpapers on Cash basis. We're happy to provide an update that this is now in development as part of new Xero Workpapers. With new Workpapers you'll be able to select the accounting basis (cash or accrual) when setting up a workpaper pack, ensuring your calculations and reports align perfectly with your client's needs.

    We've just started roll out to Australia, and will be following to other regions in 2026. We understand that you're eager for this feature, and we'll keep you updated on the progress, here.
