Hi team, we get how searching across bank accounts would be useful when looking for a specific transaction.
While our product team have reviewed this idea, we don't have any plans for developing this capability in the short term.
That doesn’t mean it’s off the table, and we'll continue to assess the interest from community in this as we keep planning our roadmaps.
If things change we'll gladly share with you all here.
In the meantime, you can use the search in Xero and filter by bank transactions. It’s not a perfect solution, but it can help in some situations.

Thanks for the added detail, everyone. It's good to be able to share this detail back with our teams.
Appreciate why Bank Rules won't help for cash accounts and where you don't have a bank feed coming into the account.
Being open, this isn't something we have plans for changing in the short-term. We'll leave the idea open for our product team to continue considering how we could improve efficiency in some of the situations you've described. If there are any updates we'll share this with you all here.

Edit multiple bank rules at the same time
Can we have the ability to select multiple bank rules and change the tax rate or change it from being to set to one specific bank account to ALL accounts all at once. I am tired of going into each individual rule to change these things.
