Hi everyone, thanks for your continued feedback and we appreciate you sharing your sentiment here. We’re continuing to evolve the Homepage experience to better meet more of our customers’ needs, and your input is a big part of shaping those improvements.
One of the strongest themes in the feedback has been widget sizing. We’ve now released resize options for the Tasks, Invoices owed to you, Bills to pay, and Net profit and loss widgets, in addition to the Chart of accounts watchlist and Cash in and out widgets.
For the small size Invoices owed to you and Bills to pay widgets, once you’ve saved your Homepage, you’ll also see an option to toggle the chart on or off if you’d prefer to focus just on the figures.
There’s more updates in the works, and I’ll keep sharing further updates with you here.

Hi all, appreciate the interest and rationale in wanting to be able to recognise revenue of a sale at a date different to that of the invoice or payment date.
While this maybe a function we look to explore in the long-term we want to be upfront that this is not something we'll be developing in the near term. In the meantime it may be best to look into connected apps that can solve for revenue recognition. We'll be sure to let you know if there's any change around this, here.

Revenue Recognition and amortizing Prepaid Expenses is pretty much the same type of calculation that Xero is already able to do in the Fixed Assets module for Depreciation. A module is a much better option than for us to book repeating MJEs out for 12 months or tracking on a worksheet outside of the system.
Seems like low hanging fruit to build and make almost all accountants : )
That would save us a lot more time than whatever enhancements were made on invoicing and reporting over these past years.

+1 this idea. We use Payrix for our recurring charges which integrates with Xero. The email from Xero says no action is required and all of that but then there's this big PAY NOW button that just confuses customers.
Having an option to remove the button for the invoice theme would be great.
We have another theme where the customer can pay manually so the button is needed in that use case.
Concur. Feels like too much going on and hard to see important info.
Also not a fan of the widgets moving depending on screen size. I put them in an order where I know where to look for what and then when I change browser window, they change order/location. Seems more helpful to keep where users put them.
