Thanks for sharing this idea with the community. We can understand why being able to add specific wording to the client declaration would be useful.
This idea is open for voting and comments from the community, and we'll be keeping an eye on its progress to gauge interest.
In the meantime, while it's not possible to edit the declaration on the return itself, you can add your own custom text and disclaimers to a cover letter that you send with the tax return. This might help you manage the risk you mentioned.
You can learn how to create your own templates for this here: Customise the cover letter for a tax return.

Even if changing the standard fields isn't possible, perhaps a compromise of being able to move fields into a different order or hiding ones that are not useful would be a great option.
It will make the client fields so much more compact and meaningful

Hi everyone, we appreciate your involvement and sharing the different aspects of activity on clients history that'd be useful, and how this'd help your workflows. While we do believe this to be a valuable feature, that we may look to develop in the future, this isn't something we've been able to prioritise against other work right now. We'll continue to keep tracking and review this idea. If there is any change that'll impact you here we'll let you know.

My thoughts were to be able to move around the declaration or merge some of the sections (like fee from refud and pay into trust could be one section) so the clients only sign the bottom of the page each time as we have a heap of people miss the middle of the page signature on the third page
