    Hi everyone, thanks for your votes and comments on this idea. We’ve looked into this request, and at this stage, we won’t be moving forward with it.

    Report templates are a beneficial feature designed for our Xero Partners managing multiple clients.

    We do understand how important it is to have a consistent and repeatable reporting process. A good alternative is to use the Management Report within the client’s organisation. It allows you to build a customised report pack that can be saved and reused. You’ll find it under the Reports section, and there’s a Xero Central article that steps through how to set one up.

    Thanks again for your feedback—it helps shape how we continue to improve reporting in Xero.

    It would be great (as a non partner but accountant at a club) to have access to reporting packages, even if it was at a cost. We are a Tier 3 level charity and do not need to use a partner for our reports. We could use the excel templates provided by the commission but why would we want to do this when we use Xero. As far as I know you cannot link xero with excel?

    Yes, it would be very good to be able to flag a bill as to be paid by direct debit. Currently I scroll through our list of such suppliers before payments are made which is time consuming and not too accurate.
