Thanks for sharing this feedback in Product Ideas, Tamara. Drag & drop options into Xero Files is something our product team are looking into, however we can't make any commitment to development at this stage. I will keep you updated of any progress around this here.
In the meantime taking on board your feedback here they are keen to get further insight of the old to new outlook experience if there are any further details you'd like to share on your experience using Outlook with Xero, here?
While the drag & drop you're after isn't available atm, you should be able to use the Files unique email to still send your attachments from Outlook to your Xero Files inbox.

Hi team, appreciate the feedback here and it appears there are 2 differing ideas being bought up here. This idea was originally started relating to the invoice branding theme. Being open, while we will look at improvements to invoice templates down the line this isn't planned just yet.
More recent conversation appears to be related to the new invoicing send modal and formatting of emails sent from Xero. We have a slightly different idea those who are interested in this can join and you'll see I recently updated - While the tool bar has been removed from the send window, you can still use html tags to format and preview how these look in your email.

This would also be ideal for the use of 'Miscellaneous Sales' or 'Cash Sales' customer card. We have a lot of individual one off sales that I don't want to add a customer card for. In myob you can change customer details on each individual invoice without it changing in the customer card. I believe this would be very helpful to a lot of trades.
