    Thanks for your feedback, everyone. We really appreciate you sharing your thoughts and the needs you've expressed about how auto linking recurring invoices to projects would save time, and give you more insights into project profitability.

    The primary way to link repeating invoice line items to a project is to manually assign them to the project once the invoice has been generated, though we know you're looking for ways to streamline this process.

    We've carefully reviewed all your comments and the strong desire for this functionality, however after much consideration, we've decided that we won't be developing the ability to assign repeating invoices to projects in the foreseeable future.

    Assign repeating invoice to a project. I am opening this up again as this is crucial. Given that a project can manually be assigned to an invoice, why can't this be done for repeating invoices. The point of a repeating invoice is so I don't manually need to generate and send this every month. As a part time employee, I am not always working on the day some of our invoices need to go out to clients to ensure they are processed by them in their next pay run. The idea of a project is to see all the income and expenses - without the automatically generated invoices, the project figures are inaccurate.

    Please reconsider the decision in July 2025 to not move forward with this. This is crucial!

    It is unbelievable that this doesn't exist. Also, if the invoice is for time, there is no time costs added to the project. Makes using repeating invoices for projects useless, as all the time costing has to be manually added to the Project even if an invoice is produced automatically. This is critical - please implement this Xero

    All our invoicing comes from projects so this is critical.
