    Hi everyone, appreciate your continued feedback on new invoicing. As mentioned in my last update we've now added a new Xero Central page for new invoicing.

    Along with updates to individual ideas on Xero Product Ideas, this page will become the single source of truth for key feature rollouts including:

    • what’s available in new invoicing right now,
    • timelines for features and enhancements going live in new invoicing, as well as
    • a comparison table between the classic and newer versions of invoicing.

    We'll be updating this page regularly.


    Relating to some of the more recent feedback there are some existing ideas that may also be of particular interest that you can join, like the ability to see the email the invoice was sent to in the history, or being able to see a timestamp, and reducing clicks and steps.

    They've not listened to us and I don't think they will do so now, all of our comments have probably been unread and sadly I cannot see Classic coming back which is such a shame because the New Invoicing is a complete mess and like everyone else I absolutely hate it too.

    Not sure what we can do now but if anyone finds a way how to contact someone or finds a better system elsewhere, please share details on here.

    I really do NOT like the new version of invoicing and I'm not looking forward to it coming into play permanently. XERO have not listened to their customers and therefore if anyone finds a similar system to how XERO used to be then can you please suggest it on here.

    I'm with everyone, I keep writing on here and have no idea if anyone from Xero is even reading what we have to say but........

    PLEASE KEEP THE CLASSIC INVOICING.

    February is fast approaching and I am dreading this New Invoice being forced upon us.

    PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. We want to keep the old invoicing system as the new version is quite simply awful. We need to know whether you will listen or risk losing a lot of cliental.

    Please keep Classic Invoicing even beyond February 2025, the new version is not time/user friendly at all.

    Don't need to fix something that is not broken.

    I absolutely agree, please KEEP the classing invoicing as it is, the new version is not user/time friendly at all, the new format is too much.

    There is no need to fix something that is not broken. The classic works just fine as it is please.
