Hi everyone, we appreciate how quickly this idea has picked up traction from the community here.
As you've likely heard through other communications we're in the midst of rolling out a unified Client experience as part of our wider Xero Partner Hub.
With the new Client experience you can now;
- Create a client without a TFN, as the Create Client flow has been updated to capture only the basic details
- The TFN can be added later by clicking Edit once the client is created.
- If you do try add a TFN that already exists on an archived client, an error message is displayed - you can get a view of what this looks like in my attachment
Thanks again for sharing with us here and I'll be back to confirm when this new experience is live to all practices.

We're interested to understand the interest in being able to add multiple emails to a clients record, for the purposes of setting these up for different purposes.
It would be great to hear more detailed feedback from our partners on the particular purposes you'd want to set up emails for and how this would help you through Xero's practice tools. Thanks!

Hi team we appreciate the feedback and interest in adding the Tracking Summary report to Report Templates here. Being upfront this isn't something we have plans for.
However, we've made a recent update to enable you to adding a custom Tracking Summary report to Adviser packs which may meet some of the needs here.
I see there's also been mentions in this thread of users that'd like to add payroll report to report templates and I wanted to highlight this idea that I'd recommend adding your vote for if of interest. Thanks!

Hi everyone, we acknowledge your strong interest in this feature, and how enabling 'Title' and 'Summary' fields from a Quote to automatically carry over when you convert it to a Sales Invoice would add more context for your customers.
In lieu of this feature directly, to include this information on your invoices you could currently copy & paste as a description only line within your invoice, or copy into the contents of your email when sending the invoice.
However, we understand this is an extra step that you'd like to eliminate to improve work flow and consistency between quotes and invoices.
We want to be transparent about the current situation. While we appreciate all your feedback and the detailed explanations of how this impacts your businesses, there are no plans to develop this idea at this time.

I agree with the initiator of this idea request. To add to the original idea requestor, it is basic business professionalism to have the quotes and converted invoices be the same. However, would also like to have the title and summary feature on the invoices that are generated without a quote being generated as well.
Is this idea on the calendar for implementation? If yes, when?

I am a new user and I am very shocked this is not already on the dashboard. In my assessment, this feature is a very basic dashboard 101 feature, which enables all subscribers to succeed in business. Frankly, I think this is a critical feature, as it is very easy to forget follow-up, unless it is staring at us directly. Hence, losing out on a business opportunity, which generates revenue. I for one start most of my book's activity from my dashboard, and keep referring back to it, so I do not forget important things for me to do.

I agree that it is very important to be able to merge two accounts together with the transactions being merged into the history as well. I am stunned that Xero does not have this feature. I don't feel that manually transferring/reconciling/archiving the account not wanted is efficient, nor is it a good accounting practice. I just moved over from Quickbooks Desktop, and I am a ProAdvisor with Quickbooks, both desktop & Online, and this is a very basic transaction on their platform, and it works very efficiently. I am trying to like Xero, but I am finding it a bit archaic with some of its functions and features.
Xero, please work on being able to merge accounts inclusive of the transactions being merged as well.
