Hey everyone👋 Thanks so much for sharing all your feedback and keeping the conversation going here. We've been following along and considering changes around the process for adding payments in new invoicing.
As we mentioned in our last update, while we won’t be bringing classic invoicing back, we're taking a close look at what made it work so well for you. The ability to quickly enter payment information without leaving the invoice is a key part of that.
To address this, our product team is now working to reintroduce this functionality to the invoice page.
We can’t share a timeline just yet, but we want you to know that your comments have been a vital part of this process. We’ll be sure to post an update here as soon as we have more to share.🙂

This will be nice idea for other businesses as well . just like some ecom store. Yesterday, I was discussing it with one of my clients and today I find out this one. I am looking for this integration for customers support on this website https://www.leveret.com/products/button-down-pajamas-kids. Will it be applicable? BTW,This is truly superb idea. Expecting it to be launch soon.
This looks like a great suggestion, as it addresses a critical need for efficiency.I am looking exactly similar feature for one of my clients business https://thebackvault.com, a vintage jewelry store, especially during the busy Christmas shopping season, processes a high volume of invoices daily. The additional step of clicking “Receive Payment” in the new invoicing style slows down their workflow significantly. The classic invoicing method’s direct payment entry field made the process much faster. Bringing this feature to the new style would be a valuable improvement, helping businesses like theirs save time and manage transactions smoothly during peak demand periods.
