Hi team, we appreciate having the payment option directly on the invoice screen has been widely anticipated by everyone on this idea. I'm happy to share that this feature has just started rolling out to customers and will be with everyone in the next couple of weeks.
When available you'll find this shows as a record payment section that sits beneath an Awaiting payment invoice on the page. I'll be back to confirm once this is fully rolled out.

This will be nice idea for other businesses as well . just like some ecom store. Yesterday, I was discussing it with one of my clients and today I find out this one. The additional step of clicking “Receive Payment” in the new invoicing style slows down their workflow significantly. The classic invoicing method’s direct payment entry field made the process much faster. Bringing this feature to the new style would be a valuable improvement, helping businesses like theirs save time and manage transactions smoothly during peak demand periods.
