Appreciate your suggestion, Claire. We can understand how being able to format text within quote line descriptions could make important information stand out and improve the overall presentation of your quotes.

Hi community, we appreciate the comments about your needs in this idea.
We get the importance of being able to set a delivery address for an individual invoice and have that address remain tied to that invoice, without overwriting the delivery details on past invoices or changing the default details for the contact.
With a clear understanding of the risks in altering historical invoice delivery details and delving into the wide range of workflows this feature would support, we want you to know this is something we’re looking to solve.
We have a larger project around being able to support multiple addresses per contact in invoicing, and as part of this we’ll be enabling the ability to update delivery address details on an invoice-by-invoice basis.
There are few steps for us to get through before we can deliver and get this in your hands but I’ll be sure to share…

Hi community, we want to provide an update and let you know we are reviewing these ideas and have a close eye on the support this idea continues to receive.
We understand that for some businesses, a quote’s title and summary are important details that should carry through to an invoice, and appreciate that automating this would improve consistency and reduce manual re-entry.
Right now, Title and Summary aren’t available fields on Xero invoices - Supporting this would first require those fields to be added to invoices, before they could flow through automatically from quotes. From there, the change also needs to be considered across a number of surfaces, such as web, mobile, imports, exports, emails, and more.
To be transparent, this work isn’t currently on our roadmap.
For now, we recommend manually copying these fields from a quote into the description field on a new line within the invoice.

I totally agree with this suggestion along with a few others. But I have noticed that there never seems to be a reply or response from Zero. Its frustrating having this page if we the users are not being listened to.
XERO Come on, at least give some feedback to ideas !! This software could be brilliant if you listen to your customers.charlotte Sands

Thanks again for everyone's support in this idea.
We'd like to let you know that the ability to drag contents from one field up or down a column within an individual invoice is now live to all users, to help save time repeating details like tracking, account codes and tax rates across multiple line items.
From the blue dot in the bottom-right corner of a cell drag up or down the column. Alternatively, hold Shift, use the up or down arrows to select the cells you want, then press Enter to apply.
Again, we know some members here were also looking for bulk updates across multiple invoices, rather than just across lines within a single invoice. That part of the request isn’t included in this release, so we’ll keep the idea open as Accepted for future consideration. 🙂

Rather than complicate the customer contact page with multiple delivery addresses Create a box/line on the invoice page to add in a delivery address which can change each time you invoice the customer instead of putting the address in the descripton box. I supply services to a local council within their properties and it would look much better on the invoice if there was a dedicated box/line that can follow through from the quotation to show the individual site address that work took place.
