Definitely need a gross to net report available before submission of payroll and also better designed report. One report showing all employees down the left and all categories along the top like the sage report. Xero breaks it down under each employee the categories and then i have to faff around with a pivot table.
This is a basic report function and xero should look at this as priority.
Also a report that you can run for employees showing all personal information along with tax and NO codes

Hello everyone, while you can currently export reports to compare pay runs, we understand the value of having this capability built directly into Xero and have been following this idea closely.
For now, AU and UK organisations can use the Payroll Activity Details report for one employee at a time by selecting the relevant date range for the pay periods. To help prevent errors, we recommend checking that employee pay templates are set up correctly, ensuring future pay runs are consistent and accurate.
Although this isn’t on our roadmap at present, we recognise the impact it'd have for customers and will continue to consider it as we plan future payroll enhancements. We’ll share any updates related to payroll comparatives here.

Thank you for your engagement and sharing through product ideas, everyone. While we appreciate wanting more flexibility and detail in payroll reports, with payroll development quite separated for each region, and to help our product teams best understand the data that would be most useful for our customers we're going to close this idea and recommend starting ideas for the specific fields that would be helpful in reports and why you'd find this useful.

Has the faster payment file issue been resolved i just moved our payroll from sage HR to Xero and i can only use the 3 day payment file not the faster payment file which is absolutely ridiculous!
