Hi everyone, and thank you for your feedback on reporting child support via Single Touch Payroll (STP).
Xero doesn’t currently support child support reporting through STP. While this isn't in active development at this exact moment, we are reviewing it for potential inclusion in our longer-term roadmap.
For now, we suggest you continue to process child support using an 'Other/None' deduction category and submit the required monthly report to the Child Support registrar manually.
We appreciate your patience and will update you if the status changes.

can I get an update plz, if child support is now reportable thru XERO STP phase 2, it is so confusing, xero by default says, a deduction pay item of child support is created under Other/None which is post tax, and any post Tax deduction is not reporting thru STP 2, but on the other hand, it says we have two options as PAYG reduced (Pre tax) or not reduced PAYG, means post tax, it is really a joke, we are on the verge of finalization 24/25 and this one things disrupts it all, almost 3 months spent on doing the big migration of more than 30 employees, and now its all very frustrating due to just single employee and deduction. Please advise if anyone has any clue, also if someone can tell if child support is pre-tax or post tax, how this is confirmed, do we check with services australia?
