We're interested to understand the interest in being able to add multiple emails to a clients record, for the purposes of setting these up for different purposes.
It would be great to hear more detailed feedback from our partners on the particular purposes you'd want to set up emails for and how this would help you through Xero's practice tools. Thanks!

Hi everyone, we thank you for your support on the idea here. We understand the needs of being able to attach documents when sending Purchase Orders, however we want to be transparent that this is not planned work at this time.
To begin, purchase orders need an update and this will be a focus for the team before enhancements like this can be considered. We will keep you updated of any related changes, here.

This is a real shortfall of Xero and is having a real detrimental affect on our workflow. I don't understand how this has not been actioned previously, as you can already add attachments to invoices!
Please get this actioned asap!!

I have been keeping an eye on this chat thread since commenting on this myself over a year ago. This is such a simple but absolutely CRITICAL feature that is missing and really needs to be prioritised in the roadmap. The functionality is already there as we regularly use message attachments when quoting, so I would imagine it is a relatively easy fix. This is creating a really labour intensive workflow for our team and is making us consider other options on the market.
PLEASE ACTION THIS ASAP!!
