There are comments from 2022 regarding exact request! Why can't someone pick this very simple fix?

In my opinion this is a very basic, and a critical feature for those using projects module. We have had to upgrade our package to get the projects module activated, and not having a feature to either include project in the account transactions or to add GL Account code or account name in the projects detail report is really frustrating. This request has been raised in 2023, and now we are almost at the end of 2025, and still this not being picked up is really concerning and frustrating.
If you idea of prioritization of features is based on support for a product ideas, you also have to understand only few users upgrade to use this feature, and therefore you have less comments about this despite being critical. and your team not picking this up urgently is really not something we expect from Xero.

All the requests from Xero regarding the extra paid Projects module are being ignored. Without the right usability projects module is absolutely useless.
Soon I'm going to remove that module, because Xero is not willing to take action, and simply work based on number of votes. Very much disappointed with Xero team.

Unfortunately, Xero's Project module is not even integrated with it's own platform - When generate Project reports, can't view Coded Accounts and are not linked to assigned transaction, unlike the rest of the reports.
IF possible vote and support for below post, I think first step for Hubdoc integration is to have the integration within the platform to generate better reports, apply filters. This is quite unfortunate, we have to upgrade our package for a very lower quality poorly built module. Outcome of my queries with the customer support is that they can't promise the changes will happen. Really disappointed with Xero.

Agree on this, this is a critical feature which has hindered the effective use of hubdoc.

Thanks for your idea on making Hubdoc tags visible in Xero, Natascha. We can definitely see how having that visibility on an invoice would be a massive time-saver.

Unfortunately Projects is used by only a small fraction of their customer base. And their team work based on number of votes for ideas. Since the customer base is small, obviously the number of votes is less. So they completely ignore. It's a pointless system. Their prioritization should be based on the segments, and comparable votes. Especially given the fact we've had to upgrade the package to be able to use projects.
I even got in touch with a customer agent, but their standard reply is they have forwarded the request but can't assure when it will happen. Seeing how frustrated, one agent offered to even give a call, I thought it will make some difference, but the call is merely a formality. Outcome is exact same standard response telling how they fully understand this is important, but they CAN'T promise.
So instead, I've started looking at other options and planning on moving away from this useless module.
