    The format for the BACS file is the same, but you need to change the file extension to a .txt from a .bac

    Something Xero should also update while they are fixing the credit reference field error

    Hi everyone, appreciate this idea has been in a state of Under review fro some time. While it was something our teams we're looking into, this work has had to be put down with other priorities that have transcended. 

    For now, we'll shift back to 'submitted' where we can continue to track appetite. We'll be sure to let you know if there's any change in this space. Thanks

    This isn't really a feature request, it is in fact a bug. The narrative on the batch payments screen clearly shows the intent of the software, and the fact that it doesn't do that is an error. Just fix it! Every year the cost of Xero increases, yet really important and very basic features such as this are not addressed. I don't want your useless AI features, I just want an accounts package that does a basic job.
