Hi April, I've just split this from your original idea here so we can gauge interest in being able to delete a Manual Journal separately.
Currently it's possible to Delete a Manual Journal while its in Draft, but like you noted can only be Voided once posted.
We'd like to get a better view of the interest in this from your idea here, and I'll let you know if there are any updates. Thanks!

Hi team, apologies we jumped the gun a touch on the idea here.
Like previously mentioned, right now you can attach documents and links, set flexible workpaper periods, and use basic calculation sheets in the new experience.
Currently our team are exploring how we might further enhance Workpapers with variations for tailored templates, and support direct importing of reports to improve the way data moves across your compliance steps. We'll share as we have more updates for you around this.

Hi Everyone, thank you for the time taken to give us the feedback on this feature. Im happy to say this idea is in development and will be added to the new Xero Workpapers experience in early 2026. Hi community, appreciate the desire for more formatting in new Workpapers and this is something our product team would like to explore more but with a few other items in the pipeline atm isn't road mapped just yet.
We'll continue to gauge the interest in this idea and as soon as there are updates I'll share with you all, here.

The History or Audit Trail currently only shows the latest update. It does not include timestamps or user details indicating when a file was attached, who attached it, or other activity logs. Including this information would improve transparency and tracking of changes.
