We've now added a supporting balance column, a new variance and change column.

Thanks for your feedback here, Bradley. Understand how this improvement to the import would be useful to you here. While we don't have direct plans around this atm, we'll keep a close eye on interest from the community and share if there are any updates planned.

Thanks for sharing this idea and highlighting how helpful clear visibility of the depreciation date would be for Workpapers review. Hi there, thank you for the feedback!
It sounds like the extra clicks to open the upload pop-up are adding some friction to your workflow compared to the previous version.
We definitely want the New Workpapers to feel as efficient as possible for you. Since direct drag-and-drop to a line item isn't currently available without opening the attachment window first, I’ve moved this to ‘Gaining Support’ to gauge interest from other users who’d like to see this streamlined.

Hi Gareth, appreciate your feedback on new Xero Workpapers here. Atm, you can refresh the pack after making template changes for them to pull through.
It'd be good to get more understanding of the scenarios in which you'd like to delete packs - For example when or why you'd want to delete packs and the sort of users you'd want to allow to delete packs to help us better assess your idea here. Thanks!

I think that's a start - but once you have actual workpapers - div 7a, gst, loan amortisation - that supporting balance should be linked to the workpaper itself so it automatically populates and ticks or crosses whether it reconciles or not.
Without the workpapers we're still providing our own workpapers - currently this new workpaper system is really just an index - it's not workpapers.
