Hi Faadhilah, thanks for raising the idea about introducing e-invoicing specifically for the UAE. With the government’s timelines and deadlines coming up, we understand how important it is for businesses there to have a streamlined way to comply.
Xero already supports e-invoicing in other regions where this has become a regulatory requirement. While we can’t share any definite plans about when or if this will be available in the UAE just yet, your idea status is currently Gaining support. This status means the community team has reviewed it, and now it’s open for votes and comments from users like you.
Getting more votes and detailed feedback from the community helps bring attention to the demand and shows the product team where to focus next. Appreciate the interest and hearing the use you have in seeing integrated apps your clients have connected.
As some will have received communication of some time back - we made the hard decision to retire Explorer in Xero HQ from 12 April, 2023.
Right now, if you'd like to see the apps a client has connected you can open the Xero organisation, go to settings and select Connected apps.
While this is something we may consider developing elsewhere in Xero HQ down the road, it isn't in the teams plans right now. We'll continue to track interest here, and let you know if there is any change surrounding this to share. Thanks

Strange decision. I would have thought that for practices with many clients, this would be a basic requirement! It feels like the apps echo-systems is an afterthought rather than an integrated proposition.
Team Xero, your silence on this issue is deafening. Really, this is not acceptable. There is a mandated date by which businesses have to go live with e-invoicing in the UAE. This is not optional; it is a government requirement. So YOU need to provide a solution asap. An update at this juncture woud be very useful!
