    As an advisor and reseller of XERO, I have to agree with Anke. I have spent hours researching the best and most cost-effective inventory management solutions for clients for XERO. The bottom line is that clients would prefer to work on one programme with all the functionality that they require instead of across multiple platforms, that are quite expensive, and due to this, they are apprehensive about switching over to XERO. Due to the additional expense of the add-ons for inventory management and having to work on a different platform plays a large roll in their decision to migrate over to XERO and most decide to stay on the accounting programme that provides this functionality at a cheaper price. For XERO to be more competitive in the South African market, an add-on like XIP is essential.
