Hi everyone, thank you for sharing how the current tracking limits impact your reporting and tracking of different aspects of your business and processes. We know this is an important capability.
We’re exploring how we might tackle the needs in this idea and enhance Tracking Categories for the future.
While we can't commit to developments at this stage, we want you to know we hear the support and feedback from our community on this.
We’ll provide another update as the direction for this feature becomes clearer.

As there is no option to choose 'tax exclusive / tax inclusive' at the import screen or in the 'Tax Defaults', could you add another column/ field onto the manual journal import template, which would force the journal to be GST inclusive / exclusive as needed?

Xero is attempting to compete with established ERP systems. MS D365 Business Central has 8 dimensions, Infor LN has capacity for 12 dimensions. When I recommended moving a NFP from MS D365 BC to Xero, particularly to reduce software costs, a key criticism was the limited number of dimensions. Because of this, Xero was deemed an inadequate tool for data analysis.
The other thing I'd add: why can't we import tracking category options? (eg a list of project numbers, agent names).
