Hi Robert, appreciate you raising another request to share feedback on your original idea. I've merged these together and re-opened the initial idea so we can continue to build interest through this.
Just to note, if your idea is moved to Feedback comments and voting are closed however if you have additional feedback you can rate and respond to the update to share additional information and this will be reviewed by out community manager to take action if needed.
From your detail here it sounds like you'd like any information on the screen blanked out for privacy when you're timed out - Would that be correct?

This is my reply to your repsonse to my original idea "timed log out". I cannot respond otherwise, the email notification is "noreply" and the original post is now "comments off". Please read "timed log out" first.
Yes, your response to my suggestion works, but my point was really that your timed log-out is not secure enough in itself. If I have to lock my screen to maintain software privacy then the timed log-out is just an inconvenience to the user. I can always lock my screen so, from a privacy perspective, you can turn the time-out function off. If you're not intending it as a security or privacy function but more to stop users clogging up your database with log-ins, than I'd rather you say that, please.
