    Has this not been fixed yet?
    Im still using the rough hack someone posted best part of 10years ago!!

    Come on Xero, in the UK this is a thing for all businesses. and for all smaller businesses this is a bug.

    Physical Address - Hi Come Find Me Here
    Postal Address - Send Me mail here please, this is my office
    Registered office - Send official Government stuff to my accountant here.

    Legally, I must display the registered office on my invoices & documentation. But as a sole trader, my physical address and postal address are the same, that where you will find me, and where I need my post sent to.

    If you are large organisation, with in house accountants, all three might be the same.

    Its been like this for, decades in the UK?

    Come on Xero, keep up!

    Hi everyone, understand the difference between a description only line and what's being asked for in the idea here. 

    This isn't something we have planned at present. 

    We do want to highlight the existing option for anyone interested that could benefit from the option mentioned earlier in the conversation (thanks, Paco) 

    Currently, it is possible to 'description' only lines to an invoice (with no Qty or Price) where you can enter up to 4000 characters worth of detail that could help you signal a note within an invoice to your customer. 

    We will continue to assess ideas in the forum here and let you know if there are any changes surrounding this to share.

    Not sure why this basic feature has not been added yet. Addidng a separate notes/message box on the invoice would be very helpful. I often generate certificates for my work. It would be good to log their number on the invoice, without it being lost in the statement lines. Or leave a promenant message "This must be repaired ASAP, it is unfit for service" Or maybe others would like to add a discount code, or small sales message... "Did you know we also do this Service?" So many reasons why.

    Please add this basic feature, to save me having to write my own invoices as often.
