Navigation | Search - Show and select from recent search history
Have the search bar bring up a list of your most recent searches instead of having to re-type what you're after.

Xero user list -is it possible to get a list of all users on Xero for all organizations, we are a Not for Profit and have about 30 entities which have a number of users in each Xero organization. I know that you can get a user list if they are on the staff list in Xero HQ, but it would be good to have a report to get all users in all the Xero organizations instead of going into each entity and then going to Organization name > Settings > Users

Log into more than one company
It would be really useful to be able to log into more than one company on an reference basis only. I'm often in the middle of something when I am asked a question relating to another company by a colleague or client. I have to log out just to find one bit of information. I might have multiple windows open with different reports etc that I then lose. This is also very important when working on related companies to see intercompany loans in both companies at once. Appreciate not the ideal solution but you could use incognito mode atm, to open the organisation you need to reference?

Xero portal
I would like a link to the Xero portal where tax documents are sent for e-signing. Rather than having to find an email with the link to the Xero portal to e-sign tax documents, it would be helpful for clients to be able to simply click a link within Xero to go back to the Xero portal and see past signed documents or anything that is waiting to be signed.

PLEASE MAKE USER ACCESS FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE
Why can't Xero give an adviser the option to select the access per user? I want to choose what user gets what access, not letting the role decide the level of access. Please make it fully custom per user.

Email as a multi-factor authentication method
Not everyone has access too or wants to use an authenticator app. I would like to have a code send to my mobile or email as the authentication method. When we setup Xero asks for a backup email address which codes can be sent too. So if codes can easily be sent to a backup email address, then why cant they just go to the users email address ? Please consider allowing code to be emailed to the user as multi-factor authentication method, instead of only allowing an email to a backup email address.

Xero Me app - Customer field search bar
The customer field box really needs a search bar. Having to scroll through 500 customers is very tiresome. There should be a search bar for every field to be honest. It does exist on the browser version, but not the app version.

Comment Section for Invoices and Credit Notes
Hi, It would be great to have a comments/notes section for invoices, credit notes, prepayments etc to keep track of why certain entries or changes are made

User role - Limit read only access
I am going through a bad divorce and I have to give my ex wife read only access to my company file however i am going against court orders and not giving her access as i know she will take invoices, purchase orders and product sell and buy prices to my competitors once our settlement is complete.
I need xero to create a read only service that does not show invoices, purchase orders, bills, inventory and also removes the report tab. pretty much just allow her to see bank accounts and where money is getting allocated.

User permissions update to Standard & Read Only
Standard user to be able to run and publish reports. Standard user to be able to prepare BAS but not submit (current set up), able to lock period but not modify locked period.
Invoice only to be able to see Contacts and activity history in contact. No ability to change financial details.
Advisor role should be higher authority than standard, ie to be able to override locked period transaction without opening the period. Able to build new/customreport, submit BAS.
Currently bookkeeper has to be set in Advisor similar to the senior accountant due to inability to publish reports. Often transactions…

Workpaper
Currently in the new workpaper, all users can delete others comments/ notes. This should be restricted. We have preparers deleting, editing reviewers' review points.

JAX access approved by admin not subscriber
We should not have to contact our accountant (subscriber) to verify our organisations agreement to use JAX. An organisation admin should be able to do this.

My Xero - Ability to view Bills, Sales Invoices and Unreconciled Bank Transactions across all Xero files/entities you are a user of
I am a Xero user (not Practice Hub/XeroHQ) with user access to 33 Xero files. Each day I need to go into each individual Xero file if I want to check what Bills are coming due or outstanding sales invoices. Would it be possible to improve the My Xero screen which shows all the Xero files I have access to to be more like a dashboard showing what is outstanding/due and what tasks are needed across all Xero files. Thanks :)

Organisation settings - Change base currency
It is remarkably convoluted to change the base currency even when no transactions have been posted. It only seems to be possible by cancelling the subscription and starting again. I rely on clients purchasing the software and it is not unknown for them to enter an incorrect base currency. I have used other systems where changing the base currency is very quick and easy. I suggest you make this a little easier.

Permissions - Auditor roles that allows read only access to everything
We're auditors and some of our clients are having issues around providing consistent access to everything as they don't want us to have read-write access, and we don't want that either. What we'd like is a user class for auditors/regulators which is read only and allows access to everything.
