Product & Services - List of invoices/bills
Products & Services - great we now are able to give users access to view/edit etc but can we also give them access to the list of sales/purchases for each product that shows below the product information. Not sure why this does not show when the user also has access to create sales invoices and purchase orders.

Log into more than one company
It would be really useful to be able to log into more than one company on an reference basis only. I'm often in the middle of something when I am asked a question relating to another company by a colleague or client. I have to log out just to find one bit of information. I might have multiple windows open with different reports etc that I then lose. This is also very important when working on related companies to see intercompany loans in both companies at once. Appreciate not the ideal solution but you could use incognito mode atm, to open the organisation you need to reference?

Organisation settings - Change base currency
It is remarkably convoluted to change the base currency even when no transactions have been posted. It only seems to be possible by cancelling the subscription and starting again. I rely on clients purchasing the software and it is not unknown for them to enter an incorrect base currency. I have used other systems where changing the base currency is very quick and easy. I suggest you make this a little easier.

To whom it may concern, my post is not an idea but rather a request for you to consider extending your UK based XERO product to jurisdictions where UK accounting practices have been adopted and reporting currency is GBP.

latest update removal
Please remove the latest update on Xero: when you copy an invoice it automatically opens a new tab on my laptop. I have more than 20 invoices to post everyday, I do not wish to have 20 tabs on my screen in the end. Not every update is a good update. When you don't have a better update, it's better to just maintain it.

That the search function can find something entered in a bill description field
Please add to the search function, that it can find something entered in a bill description field. Eg. We have a 14 or 30-day account with several suppliers. So on entering a bill, we enter the bill number in the Reference field. Then say we enter Shredder or Blower in the Description field.
If several months down the track the shredder or blower is faulty, we can't find the bill easily. Have to manually open every Bunnings or Officeworks bill & look at the transaction.

Product Ideas Notifications - enable/disable per post
Currently Product Idea notifications are either enabled or disabled.
Which means I get a ridiculous amount of emails for every single product idea I've ever commented or voted on. And given Xero's inability to actually resolve any of these issues, the number of notifications is going up and up.
Currently, because of the amount of complaints about the new homepage my inbox is full every morning.
I don't want any more notifications reminding me how bad the new home page is. However, I do want notifications on a lot of the other 'Product Ideas' that I am following.

user permission
I am looking to restrict staff members from accessing Xero on unauthorised devices. This will ensure that only company issued devices are used to access Xero. Could Xero please consider this as a quick win?

Allow Signup to Partner Program for Bookkeepers
The current signup process, while being advertised for bookkeepers actually requires a registration with the TPB as a tax or BAS agent, however pure bookkeepers categorising transactions and doing account reconciliations have no need to lodge BAS' and hence no reason to obtain a BAS agent number.
This oversight prohibits bookkeepers from signing up to the partner program and growing the platform.
A simple "do you intend to make lodgements for your clients - yes/no" button before the "BAS agent number" input field would suffice.

Permissions - Auditor roles that allows read only access to everything
We're auditors and some of our clients are having issues around providing consistent access to everything as they don't want us to have read-write access, and we don't want that either. What we'd like is a user class for auditors/regulators which is read only and allows access to everything.

Bank accounts - Ability for Managers to approve updated bank account details for contacts.
Add the ability for Managers to approve bank account details for contacts. Ie the Bookkeeper can enter in & change the suppliers bank account details in Xero, but the manager can then go an approve it.

Dashboard | Watchlist - Customise at the user level
Could the Accounts Watchlist feature have an option to have user specific watchlists? The accounts I want to pay close attention to as Head of Finance is different to what the Finance Assistant wants to see. Not all accounts are organisation wide specific.

Email - Ability to cc and bcc sent emails
Ability to cc and bcc when sending emails from xero.
This would be very useful as we have many clients that like to have various other people copied in.

With this new side-by-side view you'll find you can also CC and BCC other emails 🎉
While this feature is contained to new invoicing atm, we'll look at applying a similar experience to other areas of Xero that you can send from in the future, so we'll keep you updated of any further developments for this here. Thanks!

Dashboard - List prepayments separately from "Awaiting payment" list
List prepayments separately from "Awaiting payment" report in Dashboard.
At the moment, prepayments are lumped together with "Awaiting payment" reports in Dashboard. This gives a wrong view of the actual number of invoices that are awaiting payment. Please list prepayments separately on a different line.11 votes -
User Roles - Ability to filter and sort list by roles and permissions
As part of our QA, we review the list of users to check that it is up to date, eg, remove terminated employees, remove auditors at the completion of the audit or revert to Read Only, etc.
It would be great to be able to filter/sort the view by access type, such as looking only at Payroll Employees, or filtering them out.

New invoicing - Don't allow Invoice Only Draft Only user to select Create new item
When I am logged-in to Xero as a user with "Invoice only" and "only create drafts" permissions, it is my understanding that this user should not be able to create new invoice items or see menu options for creating new items. However, it appears this user can see this menu option when adding a line item to an invoice and attempt to create a new item, leading to an ambiguous error message.
Expected Behavior:

Notifications - Screen to maintain settings for notifications
I think it would be great to have a screen to manage notifications settings.
This could present a long list of notifications for different things (e.g. for me the important ones are activity statement due soon, STP filing overdue).
For each item, the user could select if they want it active, how they want to be notified (e.g. header line, or in a widget), and whether to be emailed (very helpful for people like me who only log in once or twice a week and do a days work).As a side note, the first of my important ones was…

add specific tiles to xero Dashboard from Business Snapshot.
I would like on my dashboard 3 main tiles
1. Revenue by month, 3 mths 6 and 12 months shown as options
2. Expenses the same
3. Financial Position this year by Rev, Expenses & Profit.

Option to turn off error messages and pop up notifications for the entire organisation.

Access levels
Would like to be able to add users with only access to invoicing, without them seeing any other part of Xero. This would be a huge benefit so I can have team members invoice customers without seeing company financials.
