    Hi everyone, we wanted to share another update here. The ability to schedule and send a one-off invoice at a date and time that works best is now available to all organisations.

    You can find this feature in the send window by clicking the dropdown arrow next to the Send email button.

    As mentioned in my last update, we understand there’s strong interest in extending this functionality to repeating invoices as well. While this isn’t currently in the pipeline, it’s something our product team will closely consider as they shape the future of repeating invoices in Xero.

    I built a small free tool that emails you about repeating invoices before they reach the client. It reads your repeating invoice templates, along with the invoices Xero generates from them.

    For templates set to save as a draft, an email arrives within 15 minutes of the draft being created. For templates set to approve or send automatically, an email arrives ahead of the scheduled date, with a link to review or change the template.

    Access is read-only, and approving and sending stays inside Xero.

    Free while in early access. Feedback on what's missing or unclear is welcome. If it would be useful for the send time to be chosen as well, I'd be interested to hear how you would use that.
