    Hi community, your ongoing interest in giving users the ability to reconcile without viewing account balances is welcomed.

    We understand why this level of bank permission control matters. As recently mentioned in my updates on this idea, while we do have current work for user roles underway there is more complexities to developing permissions within the banking space and this isn't on the immediate roadmap.

    As we continue our journey to evolving roles within Xero we'll be sure to share any progress for permissions in bank accounts with you all, here.

    XERO THIS IS SUCH A SIMPLE FIX!

    I've built our own bespoke platform for our funds management business from the ground up with one (1) software engineer (and his friend Claude) working part time around their full time role.

    In 3 months we have produced what would have previously taken 100 engineers 2 years. I share this to highlight, I know how easy it is to make a solution like this available - it can be done overnight. The issue is not the tech - it's the willingness to make it a priority.

    Instead of changing fonts that no one asked for (or values), these user access issues are a priority. Make it happen Xero.
