    Just to clarify, which specific pages or reports are you looking to sort by employee number?

    It is already possible to sort the main employee list as well as certain payroll reports by payroll number, so having a bit more detail on where you're hoping to see this would help us better understand your workflow needs.

    It would be great if the user could change the default sorting of employees - currently the default is to sort by first name, which is unlikely to be anyone's natural preference for a default - either surname, or Payroll ID would be a lot more intuitive.
