  1. The ability to mark customers to exclude from sending statements, or add more filters ( including customer groups) in statements page, which will help to find correct group of clients to send statements. This will simplify collections process.

    1. ‘Bills to pay’ link goes to ‘Purchases overview > All’, showing all Paid and Unpaid.
      This should go to Purchases overview > Awaiting payment’? The way it is now doesn’t seem logical, when we’ve clearly selected ‘Bills to pay’ not ‘Purchases overview’ or ‘See all’

    Hi Larina, we appreciate our customers have different preferences for the bills page they would like to default to and this option is available within the 3 dot menu on the Bills page.

    From here you'll be able to set the Awaiting Payment screen as the default.

    It's not possible to do this for the Invoices screen atm so I've slightly changed the title of your idea here to reflect that specifically. We'll continue to track the interest here and let you know if there's any progress.

  3. In QB you can "create a deposit" and in each line item, you can assign a customer, assign a GL account, class & amount. (there is also a line to assign to an invoice/customer ledger if you use those). You can then print a deposit slip from this as well!
    PLEASE make this function available.
    It is a hassle to enter every check or payment into "Receive Money", then have to go back and try to match up all the correct payments to the bank deposit in the bank reconciliation.
    But if we don't do it like that, we cannot…

I would like for Xero to provide more detailed analytics about the exposure my business has to foreign currency, with existing foreign currency bank accounts, bills and invoices, but also based on averages regarding how much I am spending and receiving in each currency projecting that out into the future perhaps over the next quarter.

  6. We have to regularly edit invoices from specifics suppliers to correct pennies in the VAT boxes to ensure these match. Using up valuable and unnecessary time.

    We use another software with another company that gets this spot on every time, but considering we pay for Xero we felt it would be helpful to get the VAT extraction down to 100% accuracy.

  7. Currently when we are submitting expense claims we have to scroll through all our past projects to find the project we need to assign an expense to. We would like a simple search bar placed at the top of this list so we can start typing and the relevant projects will come up as an option.

  8. Xero Expenses - In multicurrency expenses there is currently no ability to add more than one image/PDF to an expenses claim.
    We have many employees who travel for long periods of time or for certain jobs and need to be able to submit one large expense claim with multiple line items and also provide a photo/PDF of receipts for each of these items. But currently you can only upload one image per expense claim.

    On top of this there is no ability to set a different currency as the default currency for specifics employees which would be a helpful feature…

  11. Please can the hyperlinks to Credit Notes appear on the statements of customer accounts? We have so many queries to send credit notes after statements are sent out because there is no hyperlink to it on the statement, time consuming and unnecessary.

  16. Due to the fact that "Updated inventory selling price is reflected when the next repeated invoice is generated." (Please vote for this idea too) has not been implemented. You need to manually go into every repeating invoice and reselect the (same) inventory item for the price to update to the current inventory price. I think it is a bug, but support tell me it is the designed way. The existing QTY gets reset to 1. This is super annoying as you need to remember was the existing QTY was and then update it again and not make mistakes. If you…

  18. Please change the Type of the Invoice Reference field on New Invoicing to Allow for extended text formatting capabilities. Make it the same data type as the Summary Field on Quotes or the Description Field on Invoice Line items. So that the invoice reference field allows and saves Carriage Returns and Tab characters.

  20. I forward invoices to Bills via the email feature.
    I then batch process these at regular intervals.
    There could be 50 to 100 bills here.
    I have set default purchase contacts for all these contacts yet none of these drafts use that until I go into the bill for manual approval.
    This wastes a lot of time as I have to go through each bill 1 by 1.

    Allow me to bulk edit the accounts on Draft Bills and / or use the default account setting for that contact.

    This simple change would save me hours and I would get…
