  1. We have multiple stripe accounts that we need to connect. It would be great to be able to add more than one strip payment processor that connects to two separate stripe IDs.

  2. List prepayments separately from "Awaiting payment" report in Dashboard.
    At the moment, prepayments are lumped together with "Awaiting payment" reports in Dashboard. This gives a wrong view of the actual number of invoices that are awaiting payment. Please list prepayments separately on a different line.

  3. When there are no payruns for multiple pay runs in a row, please add a feature to allow to reset the pay cycle from a selected date. As it is, if a client doesn't have any pay runs, we need to either post/file the empty pay runs to keep on the pay calendar, or run all future pays as unscheduled pay runs, or set up a new pay calendar. Wouldn't it be great if there was a more simple way to keep on track with pay cycles?! Also, when selecting an unscheduled pay run, please reorder the pay dates so…

  4. Increase the character limit for product/item codes from 30 to at least 50.

    Our suppliers use a minimum of 8 characters, up to 12 characters. We use 4 suppliers regularly, which all use different SKU's; This means we can have 36 characters for standard products, even more if there is a supplier we don't purchase too regularly from or if there are 2+ similar products that get grouped under one item.

    Thanks for sharing how we could improve projects for you, Jenni. Not exactly what you're asking here but thought it was worth sharing that we have an idea over here for being able to set a default for items to be non-chargeable if you feel this would accommodate what you're also after I can merge to get a better overall view.

    While we don't have any work planned for being able to move multiple lines at a time, I've slightly adjusted the title of the idea here for this specifically, and we'll continue to track the interest for adding multiple lines at once from this idea.

  8. Dont automatically open a new tab when clicking the contact link in the new invoice or give option to turn this off.
    There is Alt+click shortcut on all browsers to do this already.
    Making this auto open as default leads to too many unnecessary tabs and attributing to a more messy workflow

    Thanks for your detailed feedback, everyone. We do find that customers have differing expectations of how clicking a link should behave.

    With the current behaviour, opening the contact in a separate tab means that users don't lose any information they may have entered in the invoice.

    We don't have any plans for changing this in the near term but it'll be good for us to continue to get a sense of the interest around this from our community here. If there are any changes that may impact this we'll share an update with you all here.

  9. Currently one can only post 50 lines in an invoice. It should be unlimited as some clients have at least 200 lines or more depending on their line of business.

  10. In New Invoicing, I need the ability to view the files in the file library prior to attaching them to an invoice, as I can do in Classic Invoicing. This is because when received into the file library, the files aren't always in the same order as they were scanned. I tried attaching a file using New Invoicing and it wasn't the right file and, because I couldn't return the file to the file library, I had to rescan the document back into the file library.   11. I'd like to enable one-click payments from customers when I send them an invoice, but only ACH, not credit card. As it is, if I enable ACH payments via Stripe, the system displays credit card options to the customer. When I try a custom branding theme without the credit card display, Xero will not allow any Stripe payment mechanism.

  12. Repeating Invoices - automatic price increase

    We have several client contracts which include 5% price increases per annum. It would be great if you could create a repeating invoice and specify a percentage to increase the amount by on its next repeat

  13. Can the tracking category be "text wrapped" so that the full description can be seen? I often have to click edit to see the full description of the tracking category which takes takes time.

  14. Projects - Make the entire Projects experience better. Today is May 17th 2024, there are currently 300+ ideas, suggestions, and requests here related to Projects, few of which have even been responded to by Xero. It seems clear that Projects is the red-headed step-child of the Xero platform, always the last to the table when the development team starts talking about updates.

    For those of us who run project-based businesses, the features requested on these pages are CRITICAL to our ability to understand how our business is doing. I'm calling on Xero to put more energy into building out Projects…

  16. When entering a new stock item, there isn't an opening to enter opening stock.
    We need to create the item first then enter the quantities in an adjustment tab.
    It makes sense to make adjustments to items already created, but surely we should be able enter an opening stock value when creating an item, this would save us a lot of time.

    Hi Amanda, in lieu of having a direct field and selection for this in Xero perhaps an option could be to add this information to the Notes of the contacts record, or attaching as a file to the contacts record.

    Appreciate this doesn't automatically flow through to the invoice.

  19. Why is the next bill feature no longer available in bill preview?
    The bill preview is a great feature in awaiting bills, allowing you to view the bill and xero transaction at the same time, before you schedule a bill for payment. There were up and down arrows allowing you to move through all the bill transactions & their respective invoice/s that were awaiting payment.

    However, in the last week it is no longer available. You have to keep clicking in and out of each bill to preview. Its time consuming. Can we please have this feature back?

  20. I would like easier access for entering multiple spend money transactions with a preview screen

    I suggest either;

    1) a separate email to send spend money receipts to like bills have; or

    2) when entering spend money transaction, after clicking save and add another, allow the preview pane to be available after attaching a file so you can still see the details of the receipt when entering (just like the preview is there when you enter a spend money from the files section) otherwise you have to go out of spend money and back to files just so you have…
