Invoice - Project address appears on invoice
Project Address to appear on sales invoice - feel like this is critical for business's in the construction industry

It would also be great if all of the data imported from Projects was available as a selectable option on the invoice. For example, The actual start finish time for tasks not just the total hours, and the option to order by chronological dates and times, not by task alphabetically. It makes sense for a project invoice based on times entered to be able to be ordered chronologically.

I'm currently just copy pasting the project address into the reference field..
We have been able to integrate Xero with our database so that we can at least get the job reference number, but still not the address
Had never heard of Sage until now - but yes agree that it is a lot more basic than other systems I have used.
Have also found the reporting options not great either -

Yes, I strongly agree. We are Ground Investigation Specialists in the Construction Industry and we must have Project Name or Project Address on Sales Invoice.
I don't understand why this is not already an Option.
I will have to continue to create Excel Sales Invoices via our Excel Based Accounting System until this is possible in Xero.
I cannot possibly send Xero Sales Invoices as they are at the moment because Xero Sales Invoices are not fit purpose until it is possible to have Project Name on Sales Invoice.
I believe you need to define a Field for Project Name for the list of Fields for Sales Invoice Templates. Thanks
PS I note that when entering Purchase Invoices into Xero, you can assign the cost / expense to a Project. The Project Name appears in the drop down options within the Purchase Invoice page on screen.
So, if Purchase Invoices can pick up Project Names, then why can't a Field on the Sales Invoice Template be capable of picking up the Project Name?
