NZ Payroll - Ability to log start/end times in timesheets
The upgrade allowing start and end times and breaks to be entered into timesheets looks fantastic. Please can you let NZ users have access to it too.

The Xero Me is of no use to me unless I can see the exact hours worked and the lunch break and then Xero to calculate the total hours worked for the day. Our staff do not have set start and finish times and also their lunch breaks can alter in time eg 30min-45 min. So I need Xero to calculate the hours. My staff are not able to work that out. eg they start at 7.50 and have 30 minutes for lunch and then finish at 4.55 - it would be difficult for them to work out the exact hours worked for the day. So will deactivate it. It would be a great day when Xero allows staff to just add in their times. I am a little surprised it doesn't already have that capability. Please consider this request as it would be a tremendous help.

Our clients who require start-end input into timesheets will be looking for an alternative payroll system.

Please make this available ASAP - this is a basic feature that should be part of any payroll system.

Is anyone at Xero able to give me an idea of when this might be available ?

An option with My Xero for employees to add more detail to their Timesheets. We have drivers who need to show hours and break times etc to match log books. If we are audited, the timesheets need to match a drivers log book.

This would really improve the usability of timesheets for our business. I hope this can be rolled out in NZ in the near future.

I was under the impression this was available in NZ and am switching to Xero Payroll. I have told my manager yep no more handwritten timesheets but now its going to be of no use as employees work variable hours, some don't take a break so they need to enter start and finish times. Why is it available in Aus but not NZ, makes no sense !

We are a new small business and want to use Xero payroll as we are already using the Xero accounting system.
If we can not get the upgrade in order for our employee to enter start, finish and break time in the Xero me app, we will have to look at another payroll system that can give us that feature.

Yes this is critial to so many business including ours. Without this option we cannot use your payrol.
You need to have a separate app when employees can get into from the other side. Most businesses have a iPad or something similar on the wall in the common room where employees' clock in and out with photo proof.
This would be critical for a lot of business.
For this reason we have to use separate apps for payroll currently -

There should be a note or comment section for each day so that each worker can write a brief summary of what they did (especially helpful in the construction industry), of course it should be optional to write in that section. Or they write down if anything important happened that day like machines weren't working or there was an earthquake etc?

This is needed in NZ, all our staff are mobile and can finish at different times. Having the ability to have start and end times would be invaluable, if it's available in Australia, why not here!

We also really need this and wondering when it will be available in New Zealand not having it makes alot more work for us having print stuff out to have a hard copy of start finish and break times

This is critical for any business that is split shift, I'm struggling with the fact Australia has this feature and we don't in New Zealand. Why is this not being released?
Or do you have a release date? I'm very keen to get my payroll more streamlined. -
