Xero and Shopify inventory integration -Direct link for live stock levels

Would be great if you could link cirectly to the live stock levels inside Shopify so if I generate an invoice and sale from Xero then the stock level reduces and adjust accordingly. There does not seem to be functionality that does this currently.

    Absolutely agree. I am considering looking at a new accountancy software that will work better. It also seems that Xero integration package with shopify has alot of issues judging by the very poor reviews.

    This is crucial to our business too and it is unfortunate Xero development team don't seem to see the need to ad this to their integration and now it is already 2025. Rather they ask us to pay for a third part app when the monthly fee using Xero is already very high for smaller business.

    Third party apps offers single order integrations, tracking and reducing stock, matching of uploaded products ( to avoid you have to upload twice) and an easy way to reconcile orders and even import transactions fees from shopify pay.

    Xero team: you should really have a look at this if you want to step up your game which we hope you do, an not only for US where you seem to offer some of this already, we are located in Asia :)

    Really need the inventory integration to keep track of the stock. Invoices have the same SKU in Xero, then this should be able to be linked surely.

    For small business that are selling across multiple platforms such as Square, Shopify, Etsy, etc. It is necessary to be able for all of these to pull from tracked inventory to keep our inventory current and allow us to place orders for inventory replacement in a timely manner. Otherwise, we are spending too much time trying to keep track of our inventory when sales are made across the multiple platforms. Please consider getting this done immediately.

    Without this feature Xero is a waste of time for any business trying to manage inventory for a bricks and mortar store and an e-commerce store

    Yes absolutely. If SKU numbers are given in Shopify store for each product, and Invoices have the same SKU in Xero, then this should be able to be linked.
    Inventory tracking can be seemless.
    Please consider.

    Yes, absolutely! I have been looking for this too.
