Please can we have this function added soon, its very time consuming having to delete/archive these one-by-one especially when you have over 500!

I really need this! It is too time consuming to archive each code individually and we have so many from pior fiscal years that are inactive!

This is a critical build!! Requests since 2022 might indicate that is a long-desired and strongly endorsed option. Please prioritise this feature in future releases. Even better if accessible using API!

PLEEEEEEEEEASE make this a option ASAP - so many categories to archive and so time consuming its actually impossible to do.

Please make this a priority.

As mentioned, all product ideas are regularly reviewed, analysed and prioritised by our product team and we will update you once we have any development on it but at the moment, we are unable to provide you with a time frame for it.

Just me again. So how is that “bulk archive tracking categories” request from July 2022 coming along? It’s now July 2025 — we’ve changed Prime Ministers, Taylor Swift has dropped three albums, and I’ve archived about 800 jobs one click at a time.

In a nutshell:
Since this request was raised, Xero has:

- Appointed a new CEO,
- Cut 700+ staff,
- Turned a NZD 113m loss into a NZD 174m profit,
- Bought a US fintech for $2.5 billion,
- Overhauled its reporting tools,
- Launched Tap to Pay and carbon tracking features,
- And revamped the Product Ideas platform…

Yet still no “select all” checkbox - not even a response!

Any chance we could see this before your next profit spike or billion-dollar acquisition? 😉

I have hundreds - if not thousands - of tracking categories that are seriously affecting my ability to produce reports. Please can you bring in a feature to bulk archive them?

Are there any plans to help manage tracking categories - particularly bulk archiving.
I am currently archiving hundreds of these and it is very time intensive.

I asked in August 204 if anything had been done about this as I see people have been asking for years for a solution - very disappointed that Xero have not thought about this yet nor posted any comment.
