I am seeking to transition from Unleashed Software to Xero, specifically for inventory management purposes.
It would be advantageous to utilize a single software platform for both accounting and inventory management. I eagerly anticipate Xero’s potential implementation of a similar function to Unleashed’s inventory management capabilities.

We need Xero to do something in the inventory space just like they did in the invoicing space with Hubdoc. Acquire the best of breed plug in and integrate it. Otherwise you will continue to lose growing businesses to netsuite dynamics and other propertairy accounting software programs with proper inventory management systems baked into their software

Just following up on this as had a call last night from Xero about the new invoicing and mentioned that I was also wondering when Locate integration was going to be released - understand by my research that it has been released in the USA but why not in NZ or world wide - its a good product you paid good money for so why not use it. Even happy to pay a little more in monthly fee for it (but not as much as unleash - which I expect are stopping this being integrated or released in NZ,

Anyway an update on this would be appreciated.

We are a manufacturing company - can i suggest a separate field in your Invoice screen to identify production lines that products will run down, and then another screen that allows the items assigned to that line to be arranged in the required production order. This is basically using Xero as an ERP system - we currently already do this in Xero to a certain extent through the information posted in the 'reference' field, but the last aspect is tricky in that we cannot order the production process without exporting to excel...., hence the request for a screen that we can either manually order or automatically order based on certain criteria, that is independent of the main current Invoice screen. I have spent time looking at your 'associated' ERP companies (Katana etc.) and what they are doing is basically what we/you are already doing - except this final aspect.

Hoping we see this soon - vital part of our business and would love to see it in action with multicurrency use too!

Wondering since Xero bought this lovely fully functional inventory system if there is any plans to turn it into a fully functional part of Xero. The current inventory system is severely lacking.
