AU Payroll - Set the number of decimals places to 2
set the number of decimals places e.g. 2 so when Xero applies a award factor e.g. 1.5x award rate the results only displays to two decimals place in their pay.
Awards are published to two decimals places that's all we are required to pay in Australia.
Fixing the rounding wastes so much time.

This is critical given the need for accurate payroll payments and the responsibilities of business owners to pay people correctly - for me this impacts 40+ small businesses and over 400 team members who may have been paid incorrectly

You physically can't pay staff past 2 decimal places so why does it round to 4. This is resulting in underpaying staff. Fair Work have also confirmed that the rates have to match the Award rates in the pay guides and majority of all award rates are rounded to the nearest 2dp.
Also, when running the remuneration reports in Xero, it shows the pay rates rounded to the nearest 2dp.
I get that the 4dp may be useful for salaried staff, but it wouldn't hurt to have the option to be able to set the dp.

Why is the ability to round to 2 decimals places unavailable? Awards are to 2 decimal places. To resolve the issue by changing each pay rate in a pay run is unacceptable. Over 400 employees with this issue relating to multiple pay items. Govt departments (applying for subsidies) are querying why an employee's pay rate isn't @ 2 decimal places. Why????
