Bank reconciliation - Import spend & receive money transactions

An import template for importing bank spend and receive money transactions. Now that Datadear is longer available for Xero clients as an app there is no way to import bank transactions

Hi everyone, we appreciate the support we've received through this idea. Without beating around the bush we don't have any short term plans for enabling the import of spend and receive money transactions. This may be something we look into further down the track so we'll continue to track and review the idea here.

For Xero Partners you could look to use the Conversion toolbox to import bank transactions for your clients.

    This option would greatly speed up our weekly reconciliation process!! Please reconsider it's importance to small and medium size businesses as Important!

    Yes, please add this functionality. Especially an import option for receive money transactions. We receive money daily from our credit card processing company. I can download a report of those daily transactions from the credit card processor, but there is no way in Xero to upload that report as receive money transactions. I'm currently copying and pasting each number from the download report into Xero transactions. Very time consuming and tedious. There ought to be an import option!

    I hope this import becomes available as it is very time consuming to reconcile bank receivables which are to be split into 20 to 30 items as they all have multiple account code allocation/ description/ tracking etc. It will be really useful to be able to import it from a third party software export.

    We have a Google Sheets cash flow forecast model, but my boss likes to review the business cash flow forecast in Xero using Analytics Plus. This entails me entering a lot of money in/out predictions for items not yet in Xero. It would be great if we could import these instead of having to do them one at a time, alternatively if there could be an option for the forecast to include bills and invoices in Draft or Awaiting Approval status.
