Customer Statement - Show links to credit notes
Please can the hyperlinks to Credit Notes appear on the statements of customer accounts? We have so many queries to send credit notes after statements are sent out because there is no hyperlink to it on the statement, time consuming and unnecessary.

Sales Overview - Search within descriptions on invoice lines
Be able to search for a particular term within invoices. For instance as service that is not often invoiced. Could then allow you to copy that particular invoice to a new invoice.

Chart of Accounts - All Debits as Positive & all Credits as Negative Values
Pls can you consider providing an option to view all Debit balances as positive values and all Credit balances as negative values (in brackets) on the Chart of Accounts as well as accounts on the Dashboard?
That way it's immediately obvious if a balance is owing TO the business or BY the business, without having to first determine if an acc is set up as an asset or a liability on the Chart of Accounts.

Bills - Approve and add another bill when credit note available
Approve and add another bill with credit note unapplied.
When you add a bill and select approve and add another, you are automatically asked to apply the credit note or skip, both options doesn't open a new bill window. I would like to see the credit note as an option, not requirement.

Expenses - Simplify assigning expenses to customers or Projects
It shouldn't be so difficult to assign expenses to customers or projects, an expense or spend money item shouldn't need to be edited to add it to a customer or project.
Simplifying this process could be as simple as an extra column that can be enabled on the Account Transactions view and if a transaction isn't assigned to a project or expense then it can be simply clicked in the column and the customer or project selected.
Additionally Bank Rules should be able to include the option to assigned to customers or projects, if we have a client that charges…5 votes -
Open Access to Bank Feed API
Allow Xero bank feed API for petty cash accounts. Currently Xero has a bank feed API, but this is restricted to banking institutions only.
Considering Xero encourages accountants to make automations to improve their work, I think opening the bank feed API is a missed opportunity. This would increase productivity so much by allowing automating petty cash and expense systems automations.
This would also allow users to choose to make their own bank feeds using open banking for EU accounts (since Xero does not have their own licence for this it shouldn't prevent accountants partnering with licenced companies to provide…

Quotes - Add delivery address to quote
Thank you for adding the ability to show both invoicing and delivery addresses on an invoice.
Please may you add the same functionality to the quotes? And as a follow on, if this option is selected at the quote stage, continue this onto the invoice as well when it is created.

I have found you are able to customise currency rates in Purchase Orders, Invoicing and Bills to pay, however you are unable to amend this in quotes.

Inventory - More decimal places for Quantity
It would be useful to add possibility of using long figures of quantity when entering inventory transactions. For now only 4 decimals are allowed. On practice it would be great if up to 10 would be possible.

Inventory - Increase character limit for products description
50 characters is often insufficient to identify separate products in (particularly) technical book names or descriptions especially where there are different versions of the same book (hard/soft covers, multiple language versions)

VAT rounding issue - avoid manual edits on Xero
We have to regularly edit invoices from specifics suppliers to correct pennies in the VAT boxes to ensure these match. Using up valuable and unnecessary time.
We use another software with another company that gets this spot on every time, but considering we pay for Xero we felt it would be helpful to get the VAT extraction down to 100% accuracy.

Expenses - Multi-layer departmental approval process
Our company has locations in in London, France, Germany, and the US and has a Xero entity set up for each.
I onboarded all employees to Xero Expenses 2 months ago and staff are happy with the mechanics of the process.
The challenge I have is the approval hierarchy. All expense approvals sit with me. This needs to change as each line manager/ department/ team head should be responsible for approving their teams’ expenses.
We have a tracking option for “Department” which can be used to pool employees in their respective teams.

Sales Credit Note - Approve and send option
When I create a sales credit note for an invoice, there is no option to send it to the client at the same time as approving it. Also, Xero sends me back to the original invoice when I approve the credit note, so in order to send a copy to the client, I have to:
- create the credit note
- open the credit note

Invoicing - Create invoices from an imported payment schedule
We are in the building industry and receive building contracts with an income schedule. It would be good if Xero had the ability for us to email a payment schedule into Xero, similar to how you can email a bill into Xero, and Xero could automatically create draft invoices in accordance with the schedule. The user can then review the draft invoices and approve them as the stages are completed.

Xero Accounting app - View published Reports
My clients access most of their viewing data on the app but cannot see the monthly reports that I publish without logging into the website. Can these published reports be viewed on the app? Can they receive a notification when new reports are published?

Invoices / Bills - Option to copy line above
Whilst doing multiline bills and invoices we need a key stroke shortcut that copies the line above to reduce time taken to enter data. I was used to this in sage. I REALLY miss it. Please!!!!

Inventory - Visible notes for users to see when using an item
We sell software from various vendors and many have rules relating to how their products are sold e.g. "Must include min of one license of X before customer can order any licenses of "Y" OR "Software Maintenance should be ordered with the licenses, otherwise it is ordered as a "Maintenance Upgrade" (with different pricing), and many other examples.
Updating these each time a new price list is issued must be done manually as Notes cannot be imported or exported making it very tedious.

Purchase orders - links existing bills to purchase orders
Please provide bills allocation to purchase order option. converting purchase order to bills is not that useful as we received multiple invoice from different suppliers. sometime some supplier send us wrong invoice and without P.O allocations to bills we were unable to catch that kind of mistakes. which result in wrong payment.
benefits of that option:
it will be easy to see if trade/supplier invoiced more than our purchase order (agreed price). as right now there is no way we can see that information in xero.
