  1. Include a notes function on the Batch Payment view, which would enable a note to be made next to any payment line item which might need an explanation for when the payment batch needs to be reviewed by a manager before being captured in the bank.

On the contact activity it tells you when an invoice reminder was sent but what would be really useful from a contact relations POV would be to be able to click that interaction and view the email so that you could screenshot/resend it to a client who says they didn't receive it. For example I have one saying at the moment they never received the reminder but did the one after and the one before? Odd? Proving the amount, email it went to etc would be a useful "told you so" if you know what I mean.

  4. When running the Transactions by box number tab of the GST F5 Return, the Invoice Number will not be shown if we have already entered a reference on the invoice.

    If there is no reference entered, Xero will then show the Invoice Number under the 'Reference' column instead. Screenshot attached.

    This makes it difficult to do checking as most users do use the reference when creating invoice but showing the reference usually does not have much significance to the accountant/bookkeeper who is doing the checks for GST submission.

    We do hope that the Invoice Number column can also be shown…

    HI team, appreciate not directly within the Customer statement at present and being open we don't have immediate change planned for adding this to the customer statement. However, for the time being you could look to run the Customer Invoice Activity report which has a few more options for the columns and detail shown. 

    Once you've set up as you like you could save as Custom to make this readily available in your org and export to share externally with a customer/client. 

  6. When using quotes. When you go to a line in the description that already has information in it to change it or amend something, it highlights everything in blue and when you go to type/add/remove something, even if you think you have the cursor in the right place, everything that is in there disappears and you have to start again. This is very frustrating when there was a lot of information in there. you have to make sure you double or triple click it till the blue highlighting goes away before you type. it is very time consuming.   9. Once an activity statement (BAS or IAS) has been lodged via Xero, when we generate the activity statement and export to PDF or Excel can it include the lodgement confirmation details, including date and time lodged, person/user that lodged, any lodgement confirmation numbers etc.
    This information is shown in Xero, but not on the report when exported.

  10. Bank statement search needs to allow the user to filter the search by spent or received as the amounts elements apply to both spent and received.

    Also - please fix the bug with status being ignored by the search.

  11. Every company in the US needs to report sales by state. I've been told by support that you require us to use the tracking feature to do this, which I find quite cumbersome, as there is no need to create a tracking category when every contact has a state.
    Simply adding the state field to the Income and Expenses by Contact would resolve this.

  12. It would be incredibly helpful if 'Quantities' & ' Unit Price' were included as column options in the Account Transactions report.

    This way one can quickly review the quantity & price of each entry without having to drill down into each individual entry. It would also provide a total quantity and average unit price for the given period.

    The example that I am referring to is on a farm business where we would like to review the tonnes of crop sold and the price.

  13. Many reporting platforms now have the ability to copy reports directly to the clipboard - this would be great to skip the download-and-open-an-Excel-file intermediate step, when in many cases we are looking to drop the data directly into another spreadsheet or workbook.

  14. When assigning hours to a specific Job, the current Timesheet feature doesn't have the same search smarts as when assigning a Job in Invoices, Bills, Spend & Receive Money.

    For example, a Job called ABC Studio - Sydney. In an Invoice or Bill I can type just 'Syd' and it will list all Jobs that contain those letters but, in Timesheets it can't. I have to type the first word 'A' before it will show a dropdown list to choose.

    This may appear trivial but why have the Job field operate in two completely different ways?

New Cash Summary report vs Old: In the new report when you customise the new report to adopt the "Working Capital with other cash movements" format & report Gross, i.e. with VAT figures, the "Other Cash Movements" in the new version are STILL reported Ex VAT. IN the equivalent Old version, they were termed as "Non operating Movements" and would correctly apper as Gross, i.e. VAT included figures.   16. When selecting Remove and Redo for Spend transactions, all attachments are lost.
    If the attachments are receipts that were photographed using the Xero app, they are not kept on the Xero app either.
    This means that selecting Remove and Redo is the same as throwing the original receipt in the shredder, not just in the bin to potentially be retrieved later.
    A pop-up warning asking if you'd like to save the attachments to the File Library before removing and redoing would avoid the loss of the transaction's supporting documentation.

  17. I have invoices that have a fixed due date, e.g 4th of the month, and would like invoices to be generated, and dated, a fixed number of days (e.g. 7) before this.

    WHen it's not near the end of the month then setting the invoice date and the due date to be 7 days after is fine. The issue arises when the invoice dates cross a month boundary as the varying number of days in the month makes this awkward.   18. Quote Titles should show up in the reporting so that clients can see which projects they are looking at. This is much different than a reference which is typically a job or project number that the client needs reference to.

  19. I would like to see the ability to customise the Fixed Asset Schedule. Currently it defaults to alphabetical order. In order for us to display the Fixed Asset types in a more logical order we need to name the fixed assets 1- Land, 2 - Buildings etc. We cannot add page breaks either which would be appreciated. We should be able to Edit the layout as we can with the other reports.
