  2. It would be very useful to be able to separate Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to classify the contacts between external and internal (intercompany/group). This would assist with the consolidated views for a group of entities.

  5. It would be handy if account transaction list that shows when you click on your bank account could be modified to include / remove different fields so that you can see information that you would like to see when looking at bank transactions without having to create a custom report.

  7. On the Expenses view, one can filter by label, by claim type, or a combination of those variables.

    I'd like to be able to see grand totals, and print to a simple PDF as needed.

    This could empower employees to create their own expense report as needed without having to onboard them as Xero users - for a trip or conference, for example.

    Hi Sue, appreciate you sharing here. So I can share this back to the most appropriate product teams - Are there any places in particular within Xero that you'd find this handy? Is there a reason being able to see the Contact ABN is useful for you? 

  9. Currently, when using the cash coding screen, if you do not allocate a payee a new payee is created for each line item. If there is no Payee the contact should be Unknown otherwise there is too many contacts created for no reason.

  10. When a client changes from GST registered to no longer GST registered - It would be greatly appreciated if all the rules changed to BAS Exc like it does in Chart of Accounts. Young clients shop everywhere and therefore there are hundreds of rules to edit.

The functionality to allow for intercompany reporting when the currencies are different between the organisations - for this we would need to be able to create an asset/liability account in a currency other than the local currency. This would eliminate any Foreign exchange gains/losses on intercompany balances.

  14. I find it unacceptable that Xero cannot give a report with the exact debits and credits on the supplier / customer account without showing how the allocation was done. If there are 2 invoices of a 1000 and 1 payment was made of 2000 - I want to see it exactly like that on the report and not 1000 allocated to the first invoice and 1000 allocated to the second invoice. This is standard in Pastel.

  15. The new balance sheet report has introduced a column between every month which contains a flag if there is an item impacted by FX. This now means that when exporting into excel the report now has 24 columns as opposed to 12 previously and the months are not sequential. I like many others use the balance sheet in other tailored reporting and financial models so am now having to delete the blank columns in order for the report to fit into my reporting templates.   16. Activity Statement - ability to filter transactions by Tracking Category to check for accurate GST codes. The ability to filter and check GST entered on transactions with Tracking Categories is especially important for NFPs and Charities.

    For some organisations, there are specific GST treatments for specific transactions and often these are tracked by the use of Tracking Categories.

  18. Can we please have the ability to set a due date for an expense? Currently it is set as the day it is approved, but we pay all our expenses for the whole month, on the 15th of the following month. It would be good to be able to set this as default for any expenses raised.
