  2. Can we please add a feature to allow you to view the inactive Chart of Account Codes? This can show when the last transaction was and highlights which account codes are inactive that may not be needed.

  3. It would be helpful to have the reports, once exported to Excel, already formatted, so that the Nil values are shown as a 'dash' as opposed to '0'. This is particularly useful when there is a large report or several reports with lots of data. It is more efficient when it comes to reviewing the figures, and saves having to custom format the individual reports. We have also had clients, who still prefer reports on Excel, ask for reports in this format, it is time consuming having to change, especially when it is a large reporting pack.

  5. I work in an open plan office and it seems insane to have my bank balance written in such large writing at the top of the page where it shows Statement Balance and Balance in Xero! It should definitely be an option to hide or minimise this!

  6. Be able to send a remittance for a future payment. Currently you can only send remittances a day after the payment has been made when the bank feed has been updated. We have suppliers who wont process our payments without a remittance meaning we run the risk of our account being stopped or alternatively we have to generate a remittance using word which is just duplicating work.

    You should be able to generate a remittance for any payment set up and not have to wait 24 hours after the payment is released form the bank account.

  7. Hiding archived accounts from chart of accounts list when customising report layouts, perhaps with a tick box to show or hide the archived accounts. It makes the job of customising layouts so tedious when the old messy chart of accounts come up every time and you can’t hide the archived accounts!

  8. Xero Expenses - Currently there is no report to get information on expense claims needs approving. (by staff member, period etc) It would be useful to have a report which can be filtered rather then logging in to screen and view all. Thanks!

  9. Right now it's not possible to run the statements for a contact having different currencies. The statements will show the outstanding amount owed according to the default financial setting currency of the contact. It would be nice if we invoice a customer in different currencies to be able to produce one statement showing the balance even if it convert the other currencies to the default currency. Or produce different statements selecting the different currencies each time without having to go change the default currency in the contact each time.

  12. Add Notes reference for Statement of Cash Flows for totals.
    When preparing financial statements it is not possible to add a Notes reference for total lines. This is extremely frustrating as we normally have a note reconciling the net operating cash flows to the net operating profit. This requires PDF correction after exporting from Xero.

    Please add functionality to add a Notes reference for total lines in financial statements.

  14. The new Profit and Loss report does not filter the actuals AND budget by tracking category. You have to manually add the correct tracking category budget to the report. When you have 40 plus tracking categories this becomes time consuming and silly.

    The old profit and loss report did this easily. So the new report is a major step backwards

  16. This is a glitch in the new reporting update from last year and I am surprised it has not been addressed yet. I run a monthly report on invoices paid from the prior month to determine commissions. I would use an Account Transaction Report for invoice totals.
    The current reports offer you to choose the invoice number as an option, but invoice number does not show up on the report - reference number does- but if the invoice number is not in the reference field all that shows up is 'ach'

  17. In the Payroll software, we can only allocate Direct wages to the cost of sales. Unfortunately, that doesn't include Employer NI nor Employer Pension cost in the cost of sales.
    Such coding would be useful, as we now use Birghtpay to do such coding.
    Without this feature, the gross profit margin and overheads are incorrect.

  20. Due to timing issues on when Stripe collects funds vs. when Stripe pays them out, we end up with transactions on our bank reconciliation after the period is closed. I know I can delete the bank statement line and import them with a current date, but it's an issue as our accountants run reports to upload into another system, and I never know if these transactions have been captured. Plus, to delete transactions, we have to open the prior period, which is problematic as we try to avoid that as much as possible.
