  1. Leave Request emails to show Organisation Name.
    Currently, leave requests that come directly from Xero for an employee does not show which organisation the employee is from.
    I have multiple businesses that I have payroll access and it is quite hard to recall all staff names from all businesses.
    The subject line should show Jane Doh from XYZ Pty Ltd has requested leave. This would make identifying the company much simpler.

  4. I would like to add information such as the date their bank details were changed on Xero and whether independent verification of the new details has been done (and how). This is becoming more important as the number of phishing invoices increases. If possible, the capability to attach a relevant document (eg notification from supplier of bank change) but if not possible, then a decent character length text field (as a comparison, the current Reference field is way too short and doesn't allow puctuation).

  5. As the new invoicing is no longer optional. I believe this issue must be addressed for all customers in the United Kingdom.

    When adding a new contact upon invoice creation, allow us to search for the address via postcode like we used to. This could be achieved by postcode search ABOVE Billing Address, then auto-populate the billing address based on the input post code.

    Note there were many issues with the search results which must also be addressed (See: https://productideas.xero.com/forums/939198-for-small-businesses/suggestions/46289185-contacts-improve-uk-postcode-lookup)

    OR alternatively allow us to simply input the full address as one line and YOU automatically digest it and…

It would be great if you could customise what text is displayed with placeholders on the client end, for example, for the [online quote/invoice link] options, I'd rather they could be displayed simply the other end, instead of the long web link which looks a bit spammy...ie 'please access your quote here' - and it's 'here' that links - as a normal hyperlink would

  7. If we cannot put a warning against the bad payers, surely it cannot be that hard to be able to change the customers business names into another color (Red) So when you search or create a new invoice, alarm bells will ring and hopefully avoid more loss

    Hi Todd, have you seen credit limits? These will allow you to set a limit to how much spending a customer can make with your business. When they reach that limit you can also choose whether to restrict invoicing for that customer. This may help with the scenario you're noting here.

  8. Be able to see recurring invoices set up for a client on that client's page. So many times I think to myself "I'm pretty sure I set that up, but did I?" and then I have to go and search in the repeating invoice tab. It would be good to be able to see recurring invoices just on the client page.

  11. Whenever I enter an invoice for a new customer, which is quite often, it always annoys me that the 'Add new contact' pop-up doesn't have postcode search in it.

    So I end up adding a contact and their email, saving then going into contacts in a new tab to complete their address from their postcode.

    Just add lookup to the contact details in add quote/invoice/etc wherever there is a postcode field.

  12. Is it possible for cash sales/one off payments to chose not to save an email address? Every time I do a one-off cash sale for a new/random customer, the email address automatically saves into the Cash Sale contact file. But the next cash sale invoice is going to a different email address, so while I can input the new email address, the one prior is printed on the invoice! It is getting very tedious having to go into the contact file, delete the previous email address and get back into the new invoice to reprint it every time I do…

    Thanks for your feedback, Carolyn. Appreciate the different use case and why you may not want information from a singular invoice to update the contact. We'll get an understanding of the demand for this here. 

    In the meantime, it'd be good to understand if recording as Receive money could help your flow here for cash sales so you don't have to enter contact details?

  13. Currently this only shows over a 12 month period when in all cases I'd like to see how well each customer or supplier has performed against the same month last year.

    At worst could this not simply be a 15 month graph (as if it were 13 then the previous month/previous year would drop of when everything was in by the beginning of the following month?

    • at best could you select filters to compare even the past 3 years by month etc...

  14. Report to see when a customer account was opened/set up. When conducting customer credit account reviews it would be handy if there was a report to see what date a customer account was set up. So you are only reviews accounts that have been opened for a year. At the moment the only way to see when an account was set up is to look at the notes/history on each individual account.

  16. Allow the contact's account number <ContactAccountNumber> to be included on Branding Theme invoices (and other documents).

    Hi Kirsty, having looped in with the team this placeholder is not something that has been developed in new invoicing and isn't on the immediate plans at present.

    For the time being, you'll be able to use the shortcut shared in classic invoicing. We'll re-open the idea to continue building traction in this here and I'll update you if there is any progress surrounding placeholders that'd help here.

  18. Move the Delete button away from preview in files attached to contacts.
    So many times, I have accidently deleted files attached to contacts. The delete button is right next to the preview. There is no way to restore once deleted..

  19. Ability to show customer credit limit on the landing page of a GROUP (In this instance Credit Client)

    Purpose - Users can easily see the credit limit along side the contact name and the headers "You Owe" and "They Owe" Providing a snap shot to avoid the need to click into each individual account to check their credit limit.
