  2. When using the new Check box. 'Use as billing address'. If you type in the address afterwards and edit the address. It deletes the the selected checkbox. 'use as billing address'

    Just frustrating as you have to go back in and recheck.

  3. Make archiving and restoring contacts more intuitive and user-friendly.

    Option for archiving contacts should be select from drop-down menu or click on "the 3 dots" and select.

    Having to find an historical invoice allocated to an archived contact in order to restore them is super-unhelpful and counterintuitive. MUCH better to include archived contacts in Contacts options and include a "Restore" option via "press and hold", drop-down or the 3 dots.

    Hi Bradley, have you tried archiving and restoring contacts from the Contacts list? From here simply select the contact/s you'd like to archive and you'll see the option at the top of the list turn blue for you to click.

    When you'd like to restore a contact you'll find the Archive tab as an option from this same screen, where you can click on the contact to open it's record and there is a blue Restore option in the top right.

  4. To be able to add more than 5 email addresses in a client so that you can email the invoice out to more that 5 people at a time.

  5. We have dozens of parent companies with underlying subsidiaries who place separate orders for separate locations, all under the parent company's credit line/name. These all split into different contacts in Xero when they come in from our order processing system. We need Xero to support hierarchies/parent-child relationships/nested orders, so that all purchases can be aggregated to the parent company, both for tracking overall credit use and for sending consolidated statements that include all purchases from all "children". We work with BigCommerce who has a BundleB2B feature that allows these kind of parent-child hierarchies on the client-facing side, but we can't…

  6. eInvoice option should be able to be set in a clients contact card much like the Xero to Xero network key or as an option where these options are when emailing the invoice.
    Include files as attachments
    Include PDF attachment
    Send me a copy (Email Address)
    I feel that the new changes have made things slower for Clients and bookkeeper's
    Some of the updates are not as straight forward.

  7. Sending a statement with additional notes in the email. Is there a way to keep record of the additional notes. At the moment you only see under the contact's history and notes that a statement has been sent, but there is no record of the notes that was sent with the statement

  8. I would like to add information such as the date their bank details were changed on Xero and whether independent verification of the new details has been done (and how). This is becoming more important as the number of phishing invoices increases. If possible, the capability to attach a relevant document (eg notification from supplier of bank change) but if not possible, then a decent character length text field (as a comparison, the current Reference field is way too short and doesn't allow puctuation).

When adding a contact, the "search address" works fine most of the time, but can take some time before new addresses are added to the search data base and require manual entry (usually cut and paste from Google Maps.) Could this feature not be linked with an API to the likes of Googles address infrastructure to utilise their rapidly adapting data base?

  10. it would be nice to pull from a dropdown of existing contacts already in the system to add to Additional People instead of having to type in their first/last name and email all over anew.

  11. DISABLE EMAIL SUGGESTIONS FROM XERO

    I WANT TO REMOVE THE ABILITY FOR INVOICES TO BE SENT TO INCORRECT CLIENTS BY INADVERTANTLY SELECTING ONE OF THE (MOSTLY OUTDATED) SUGGESTIONS FROM XERO.

  12. Noticed that the BRN can be filled in the "Business Registration Number" data field in Xero Contact, but how about the individual contact with an Identity Card or Passport number?

    Even we can fill the IC / passport number in the BRN field, but how to choose the ID type (whether it is IC No., Passport No., BRN, or Army No.)?

  13. Under the previous Contact view, there was a book icon to show if there was an attachment to a bill. Now there is an icon to allow copy bill to draft bill. I can't imagine any time I would use this, but value being able to see if a bill has an attachment. I have to open the bill now to find if there is an attachment or go back to the Purchases section and create a report there.

  14. A number of overseas entities, may be registered to charge GST to AU customers, particularly if they are selling digital services into AU. Many of these entities are registered with an ARN (ATO Reference Number), rather than an ABN.

    If registered with an ARN, they can charge GST, however the recipient of the service cannot claim the GST credits.

    For Xero users, it would be great to be able to include the ARN as part of the contact record - ideally in the ABN field, and potentially with a checkbox to indicate that this is an ARN instead of an…

  15. There are times I want to create several invoices within a group, but not the whole group. For example, in the Equine Lessons Group, there are contacts who take private lessons, group lessons, and/or homeschool lessons. Each contact may also be at a different skill level, therefore a different class. I would like to be able to select which contacts to invoice for Level 1 Homeschool Lesson, or for Level 3 Homeschool Lesson, or even Equine First Aid, depending on who, when , and what course is being taken.

  17. Copying part of a sent invoice perhaps just invoice number and amount to my e-mail would avoid a problem I had.
    My e-mails were hacked and a monthly rent invoice I had sent was copied the next month with amended bank details.
    I no longer send copies to my e-mail although now I have to concentrate more so I know which ones I have sent.
    This type of fraud has happened to someone else I know - we are more careful with our e-mail security now.

    I'm sorry to hear that your email was hacked, Joanne. As you may have seen in other ideas on the site we are working to develop the History & Notes so you'll soon be able to see detail of the email an invoice has been sent too. Doesn't ideally solve for what you're asking here, so we'll continue to track this separately and update if there's any news of having more control of what you can send with the send to self option.

  18. I would like to submit a feature request for the Statement of Account (SOA) report. Currently, the SOA allows for downloading the entire account summary for a contact, but it lacks the ability to filter and download specific invoices based on types or any other granular filtering or customization.

    For example, in my organization, clients sometimes use multiple revenue streams. Invoices are categorized by these revenue streams. There are instances where my clients only need the SOA for one particular revenue stream.

  19. Leave Request emails to show Organisation Name.
    Currently, leave requests that come directly from Xero for an employee does not show which organisation the employee is from.
    I have multiple businesses that I have payroll access and it is quite hard to recall all staff names from all businesses.
    The subject line should show Jane Doh from XYZ Pty Ltd has requested leave. This would make identifying the company much simpler.

  20. Report to see when a customer account was opened/set up. When conducting customer credit account reviews it would be handy if there was a report to see what date a customer account was set up. So you are only reviews accounts that have been opened for a year. At the moment the only way to see when an account was set up is to look at the notes/history on each individual account.
